We aim to lift lives, make disciples and help them discover their purpose. Vision Statement
Our vision for a church that (is):
Vibrant in Worship
The fundamental purpose of creation is to worship God, to honor Him first and to give Him the glory due to His name (Rev. 4:10-11; Ps. 95:6; Ps. 29:2). Worship engages the heart, mind and soul; it underlines the core of our relationship with God (Mat
t. 22:37). It is our intent that those who attend our worship services will experience the joy of entering into God’s presence and the fellowship of the believers. Personal and corporate worship will take precedence. Steadfast in the Word
A transformed life results only by taking heed to the word of God. The word of God governs all decisions and relationships in the body of Christ. God honors His word by establishing His purpose in our lives (Ps. 119:91, 105; Acts 2:42; Heb. 4:12). Honoring God’s Word as the final authority for our lives will always be emphasized. This will be achieved through the spoken word and bible studies. Fervent in Prayer
The church must become a House of Prayer for all people. God releases His power, purposes, and plans for our lives and the ministry when we pray. It is through prayer that we develop and maintain a personal relationship with Christ. A praying church will always know the mind of God and will always be in the will of God (1 Kings 8:28-32; Isa. 56:7; Mk. 9:29; LK. 18:1; Col. 4:2; James 5:13-18). We will continuously fast and intercede for the needs of each other, our ministry/church, our community, city and our world. Loves and Accepts People
True ministry values people and is sensitive to their needs. Jesus moved with compassion spoke, ate, fed, taught, loved and walked with the people, becoming our God who can be touched by our weaknesses. Servanthood will be the hallmark of our ministry, as we endeavor to minister to real people with real needs (Matt. 25:34-46; Jhn. 13:16; Matt. 9: 11, 36-38; 14:14; Lk. 7:34; Jhn. 8:6-11; 1Pet. 5:2-4). Upholds a lifestyle of Holiness
In every generation the popular culture opposes the thoughts, beliefs and values that the church professes. We are called as a church to forsake the things of the world and be separate by upholding a lifestyle of holiness. Holiness is not legalism or a system of rules, but a life that emphases honest and upright character, morals and conduct; a divine work of power performed by the Holy Spirit within our hearts and witnessed outwardly. We will always emphasize purity despite the influence of the dominant culture (Lev. 19:2; 20:7,26; Isa. 6:1-7; 57:15; Matt. 5:13-16; Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 3:17; 2 Cor. 6:17; Eph. 1:4; 5:27; Titus 2:12; 1 Pet. 1:15-16; 1 Pet. 2:5-9). Empowers and equips believers for ministry
God has given every believer a spiritual gift through the work completed by Christ and His resurrected power. Every believer is called to be an ambassador for Christ. We will encourage and empower the laity to discover and develop their gifts, talents and calling, to be used in excellent service to God and each other. Prepared and ready for the rapture
The church must never become complacent in this world. We constantly anticipate and steadfastly await a city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. Jesus’ promise to return to this earth and take away His children still lingers in our hearts. We will commit to preparing God’s people for His return to this generation (Jhn. 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:51; 1 Thes. 4:14-18).
