You may not see the benefit today. Plant the seed anyway. 🌱 Allah can make it grow years later.

Ustadh Tariq shared a beautiful narration in his Eid Khutbah: Thabit al-Bunani said, “Verily I know when my Lord remembers me.” When asked how, he replied: “When I remember Allah, He remembers me.”

SubhanAllah. We spend so much of our lives seeking to be seen, remembered, and valued by people—yet the greatest honor is far greater than that: to be remembered by Allah.

This is the promise Allah Himself gives us in the Qur'an 2:152: "Remember Me, and I will remember you."

Pause on that. The Lord of the heavens and the earth—who created you, sustains you, and knows every hidden detail of your heart—promises to remember you when you remember Him.

And the Prophet ﷺ taught that when a servant remembers Allah in a gathering, Allah mentions him in a gathering better than it—the gathering of the angels. And when Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibril, then the inhabitants of the heavens, to love him, and acceptance is placed for him on earth.

At the heart of all of this is what every soul is searching for: tranquility.

Not a fragile peace tied to circumstances, but a deep stillness that remains even in hardship—because the heart knows it is not alone.

“Truly, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’an 13:28)

So whatever is weighing on your heart today, remember this: Allah is greater than it.

Greater than fear. Greater than uncertainty. Greater than every difficulty ahead.

So fill your days with His remembrance—because when you remember Allah, you are not only drawing near to Him… you are being remembered by Him.

As we enter these blessed days after Eid, let us remain in a state of dhikr so we can truly benefit from what Allah has placed before us. As Ustadh Tariq reminded us: “be in a state of dhikr so that we can have as much benefit in these blessed days.”

Dhikr is not just on the tongue — it is a heart that remembers, a life that turns back to Allah, and actions shaped by gratitude. Every breath, every ease, every opportunity to worship, give, love, and repent is from His mercy.

So fill your homes, cars, walks, and gatherings with His remembrance. Let every place you enter carry traces of dhikr. Even the earth beneath us may one day testify to what we filled it with — remembrance or neglect, gratitude or distraction.

Visit family. Give generously. Speak kindly. Renew your intention before every action, for Allah alone. And when Allah allows you to be a means of goodness, say “Alhamdulillah.”

These days pass quickly — but what remains is the heart we build within them.

For hearts do not find rest except in the remembrance of Allah.
