(Español abajo) Join us for the 2026 Pride Forum featuring Dr. Robert F. Reid-Pharr, Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at New York University, as he reflects on faith and the voice of James Baldwin.

He will explore the idea of a “civic faith” and Baldwin’s call toward “communal belonging,” engaging themes of race, religion, sexuality, democracy, belonging, and the crossing of boundaries—drawing insight from Baldwin’s life and enduring relevance today.

Saint Peter’s Church hosts this forum as part of our commitment to celebrating the resilience and vitality of people of faith, especially uplifting the witness of LGBTQIA+ communities in a time of civic challenge.

This year, in partnership with Central Synagogue and St. Bart’s, we gather to learn, reflect, and deepen our shared sense of communal presence. Spanish translation of Dr. Reid-Pharr’s remarks will be available.
