THE ORIGIN OF OUR NAME:

STJ's first Liturgical Dance Ministry is in the building and making noise for the kingdom! Founded in Fall of 2006, we have been dancing not only on the SJU campus but within the Tri-State area, letting young people know its great to have fun but fellowship is even better, and to worship the King is a privilege. Our group of ladies and gentlemen are not only focused on kingdom building, but also on strengthening other young people and our commuinty through our various service projects and activites.

To the Church in Laodicea: God holds an invitation for everyone to be in communion with Him. No one is excluded. His willingness to reach you where you are shows just how much He loves and cares for you. However, in order for Him to meet you where you are, you have to make room for Him and allow Him to come in. “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. The Church of Thyatira was an attractive church (many ministries, service outreaches, events). But, there was a dominant leader Jezebel who was corrupting everyone in the church.

How can we relate this to your life?God sees ALL of you -your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and continual improvement. But there is something that you are allowing in (into your mind, into your life, etc.) that is leading you astray and that’s what God wants to burn away from your life. Maybe not a literal burning, but more like a form of cleansing.
And after all that is burned away, you need to be filled up again with all that is of God so you can carry out his purpose for you and live the way that He wants you to live without anymore of the distractions that kept you.

So to me, being “filled up” means that I am so filled up with God that when people see me they can only see God, like I am overflowing with God.

We serve a covenant keeping God, who keeps his word to his people even though we turn a blind eye to him.
Revelation is a call for us as believers to come together so that God's truth may be revealed. We're all apart of this mystery of God because we carry pieces of Him. Revelation is a way for us to be more intimate with God and his desires and purpose for our life.

God is so firm in his love for us; so much so that He's not going to force us, because He’s simply a gentlemen. There’s no love like genuine love that comes from a true want and desire. And it is our responsibility to go and share this with others so that may see the love and truth of who He is.
