Day 1: Where in the house can you place a Hanukkiyah? In the Talmud Bavli Shabbat 21B, our Sages say that it is a mitzvah to place it at the entrance to one's house on the outside. If you live upstairs, place it at a window adjacent to the public domain.

On the eve of Passover, remembering
The bitter and the sweet
The breath of life
The laughter of children
Seder in different languages
Singing every verse of Hallel
Kiddush for the first time
Really really wanting to be in Jerusalem
Seder with an elder cousin who otherwise would have had no Seder
Connecting with far flung relatives of relatives
Remembering 2020 when people raised money to deliver meals for medical staff on duty
Remembering 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 when sickness and loss did not discriminate
Remembering when the world was in it together
Arranging the empty chairs
For those who are still missing
For the Mah Nishtana among the rubble
