🌟 How To Become An Authentic Disciple 🌟

Good Afternoon, Flushing First Church of the Nazarene family! 🙏

Sunday's sermon was truly inspiring as we delved into John 1:40-42 and explored what it means to be an authentic disciple of Jesus. Here are some key takeaways:

Obedience to the Light: Andrew heard, followed, and acted on what he learned about Jesus. Are we doing the same in our daily lives? (John 14:15, John 15:14)

Unselfish with the Message: Andrew's first priority was to share the good news with his brother. How are we sharing the message of hope and healing with those around us? (Matthew 28:19)

Agents of Change: When we introduce others to Jesus, their lives are transformed. Just as Simon became Peter, a rock, through Jesus' loving gaze, we too can be instruments of change.

As an act of care for our community this Thanksgiving, Flushing First Church offers free boxes of love with groceries to make Thanksgiving Dinner for up to six persons. The food distribution begins at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 pm.
