The Christophers mourn the passing of Dolly Parton, an entertainer and artist whose heart and soul added light to our world through her music, storytelling, and selfless acts of giving. Dolly won several Christopher Awards over the years for TV movies inspired by her life and faith. And when she was interviewed on "Christopher Closeup" in 2020, she declared that whatever talent she had was a gift from God. That's why she was so committed to using it well. Here is a link to that interview. Eternal rest grant unto Dolly Parton, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen.
