Introducing Provocation Tuesdays ✨

In our Reggio Emilia inspired approach, a provocation is a thoughtfully prepared invitation: materials set out to spark curiosity and exploration, with no set outcome. The children lead, and we learn from what unfolds.

This week, our Purple Room began exploring a recycled surface: the inside of brown paper grocery bags! The paint was mixed with sand and shaving cream for a new texture, and bowls of colorful yarn were nearby.
Some children painted with big, sweeping strokes, some tried sticking yarn into the paint, and others asked for blue and white to add to the mix.

That’s the beauty of a provocation: the children show us where the learning goes. The exploration will continue all week, and we’re so excited to see where they take it next! 💜

We can’t wait to feature another classroom next Tuesday! 👀✨

A little Shabbat joy to brighten your feed! 🎶💛

Come sing, dance, and celebrate Shabbat with us at Shabbat Sing! It’s a wonderful way for our littlest learners (and their grown-ups!) to welcome Shabbat together.

Want to join the fun? Drop-in classes are available! No need to commit to a full session.

✨ Register for a class through the link in our bio.

Shabbat Shalom! 💙

When children are given the tools to look closely, wonder follows. 🐚🔑

Our Teal Room friends have been exploring “treasure” through the lens of a microscope, noticing patterns, testing theories, and building a shared language of discovery together.
