Be Real With Jesus To do what is written in Mark 16:15, spreading the Gospel all across the world.

We're so obsessed with being number one, having the world cheer our name, beating others to reach the peak of the mountain, that we forget Jesus Christ is the one who knows the plans He has for EVERYONE on this planet (Jeremiah 29:11). Waking up and going to bed, all we think about is having all eyes on US. But what if being #1 costs you your relationship with the Lord?

Does obtaining a million dollars mean more than being closer to the Lord? What about having dinner with a key public figure, where you can't mention Jesus Christ at all? What's more important than knowing you're right in the eyes of the Lord?

Brothers and sisters, the same way seasons change, music and popularity never lasts forever. But the love of Christ, His blessings, His mercy will never fade away. Don't think if you put Christ in the backseat, that everything will go smoothly. Christ is who puts kings and queens in power as mentioned in Daniel 2:21. We need to stop obsessing over the little things, and remember that Christ should be the center of our lives.

Christ doesn't need anyone's help to take you to the top of your life, career, school, and more. So trust Him and not man. Ask the Lord to grow more and more in your life, and that you decrease more and more in your life. Don't obsess over being #1 in this world. Obsess over making Christ #1 in this world.

Wanna know something that most of us don't fully realize? That even when we turn our backs on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when we constantly break our promises with Him, when we get angry with Him and blame Him for the horrible things happening in our lives, He is ALWAYS with us through the thick and thin. When Adam and Eve both ate from the tree that He forbidded them to eat, yes the Lord punished them but He never left their side. After David had laid with Bathsheba, the wife of one of his faithful soldiers, yes the Lord punished him but He never left his side.

When Jonas refused to follow the Lord's instruction in going to Ninevah, preaching to that sinful city, the Lord punished him but He never left his side. When Samson allowed his flesh and lustful desirs to get the better of him, yes the Lord punished him but He never left his side. When the people of Israel turned their backs on the Lord, worshipping false deities, yes the Lord punished them but He never left their side.

What am I trying to say? With all the mistakes we've committed in the past, the ones we made today, and those to come Christ WILL ALWAYS be near to us.

And even when things look bleak: losing a job, a loved one, your home, finding yourself in a hospital bed, waiting in silence for your moment to shine Christ WILL ALWAYS be near you. When the enemy, who we rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ lies, telling you that you're all alone in your current battle, always repeat Matthew 28:20 reminding him that Jesus Christ is with us ALWAYS, all the way to the end of age.

Many times we want to see the plans of the Lord be fulfilled in an instant. As humans, our patience is incredibly thin. We're promised a spouse, a happy and healthy family, a promotion, a new career, a new car or home, and much more. When we hear that, we quickly think it's scheduled to happen within a few weeks.

Even if a prophet, or the Lord himself, doesn't tell us, we think just because we pray for it the Lord is suppose to answer it in an instant. Brothers and sisters, allow me to tell you something about the difference between our timing and the Lord's.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV): "He has made everything beautiful in its time."

Isaiah 60:22 (NIV): "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen."

Prayer is great and necessary in this walk. However, you can't win the Lord over, or tell Him because you prayed x amount of days and hours that you deserve your prayers to be answered. All you need is faith. Faith that Christ WILL start AND finish what He started with us. He doesn't forget, He doesn't need to be persuaded, He doesn't need anyone's help. He's Christ.

Matthew 6:24 states that you can't serve two masters. You either love one and hate the other. But can't give both of them your time and heart. Basically, you can't serve the Lord Jesus Christ and desire be popular and loved by the entire world.

You can't party after work and/or school hours, and serve the Lord only on Sunday. You can't sleep with a married man or woman, and say you love your neighbor. And you certainly can't practice witchcraft to gain fame and popularity, while saying Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

It's one or the other!

In this walk of life, you can't be flip floppy, saying you'll serve the Lord every other day. Don't think because you have a large fanbase, tons of likes and reposts from your content that Jesus Christ needs to take a backseat in your life. Remember brothers and sisters, not only do seasons change, but so do people's taste in things.

The approval of man has an expiration date, and it can't take you far. But the Lord's love, patience, mercy, and approval has no end to it. It will take you to places and to people you can't even imagine. So stop thinking you need the approval of others to get far in life.

Only Christ has earned the right to always be your #1 priority.

Everyone has a weakness. Everyone struggles with something in their life. Whether it's a mental battle, a battle at work, one under their own roof, or even something that's been following them 10+ years we're always trying to find a way to stay afloat in life. And many times we try to be our own doctors, prescribing ourselves with what or who we think is the perfect remedy for our affliction.

But in the end we find out they might only work for a few days or weeks, the problem quickly returning probably even stronger than before. Don't think you're alone. There are others like you trying to win the battle against their weakness. Alcohol, drugs, po*******hy, doing harm to their body or others, stealing, gambling, and much more.

You're not weak when you're trying to find help, but are afraid or ashamed to verbally ask for it. Please staple this verse deep into your mind, constantly reminding yourself whenever the enemy (who we rebuke in the mighty name of Jesus Christ) tries to tell you you're worthless:

Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you. - 1 Peter 5:7

Of course Christ is fully aware of what we're going through, what we do behind closed doors, and our plans whether they're for our good or not. He still wants to hear from us. You and I don't have to be strongest. If you're drowning in your sin, addiction, problems Christ is willing and able to not only rescue you, but also liberate you.

Run and call on The One death couldn't keep down. He remains undefeated when solving all sorts of problems.

We're already 2 months into 2026, and sometimes we feel nothing has changed. We're either still in the same vicious toxic cycle, or we see ourselves picking up habits we never thought we would do. Instead of growing closer to the Lord, through His word and prayer, we distance ourselves from Him.

Brothers and sisters, the pleasures this world has to offer can't compare to the blessings the Lord has in store for us. Whether you like to admit it or not, after indulging with the pleasures of the world, we quickly feel disappointment, regret, and most importantly the Holy Spirit let's us know that Christ is hurt by our actions.

The Lord isn't against us when wanting to have fun. But when that "fun" places a giant gap between us and the Sovereign Lord, then that becomes a huge problem. And folks, nothing that this world has to offer will ever make me want to turn my back on the Lord.

No one is perfect. We all have perverted thoughts, have habits that are toxic, and we think that the lifestyle we're living isn't harming our relationship with the Lord.

Just remember this one thing from this post: Christ has and wants better for us all.

Many of us are so eager to part ways with 2025, ready to embrace the new year with wide open arms. All people keep saying is how hard this year has been, and that 2026 will be far better than 2025 with plenty of new blessings. Yes, 2025 had it's up and downs, filled with challenges and obstacles along the way. But folks, you can't say that the Lord didn't bless you all throughout the 12 months of 2025.

We made so many mistakes, things that we promised the Lord we wouldn't repeat. And yet, even after we fell He was still faithful and picked us up, giving us another chance to get it together. For 365 days, the Lord woke you up, allowing you to see a new sunrise. You may have lost a loved one or got your heart broken. However, He never abandoned you, always there to wipe away your tears and mend your heart. Christ was with us all throughout 2025, showering us with blessings day in and day out.

Folks, we made it to the last day of the year. That itself is a huge blessing! Yes, I pray that your prayers get answered next year. That 2026 be filled with blessings and moments where you find yourself smiling from ear to ear. But brothers and sisters, don't forget what the Lord did for you in 2025. The problems He got you out of. The times He healed your broken heart. The many times He forgave you. The blessings He allowed you to hold, see, hear, and more. And remember, thank Him even for the times He closed doors that you thought you would benefit from, but were actually meant for your destruction.

In a matter of hours, we'll be stepping into a new year. Expect new blessings, new trials and tribulations, new relationships, new opportunities, new skills being unlocked, and more. But something that won't change is Jesus Christ being with you through the thick and thin.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6
