As all of you know, I have been on this journey for 2 years now and it surely has been impactful. It also hasn’t been a linear journey. This year has shown me that life can really throw its wild cards and it’s so important for you to remain consistent, even in the midst of when you are least motivated.

This year alone has been one that has challenged far beyond any other year recently. From almost facing homelessness during my time with COVID, losing friendships, watching my childhood home catch ablaze with my mom in the building, helping my mom battle COVID and then…..seeing my mother suffer a stroke and brain bleed and on the path to recovery as we speak, ending up facing health challenges myself..life has been a challenge this year. I had to adapt, become flexible, fight and even succumb to weakness at times.

But we made it🙏🏼 I was in the depth of what could have been a deep depressive episode when I saw post this 4 week challenge for her subscribers group (I STRONGLY RECOMMEND SUBSCRIBING TO HER PAGE) and I took it on. In the midst of it all, I literally had to fight to show up everyday. I wasn’t motivated at all. It took utter discipline. And I made it.

It made my life feel more refined. It gave me a sense of clarity and well being. It help me organize myself in the midst of chaos. It wasn’t just about looking good as I say but it was about being well. I needed this and ni matter what, I am grateful for everything life has tossed me because it’s a beautiful and ugly journey and all worth while in the end.

May the marathon continue!

Because of the many activities that have been occuring on a Wednesday, GFC has not had an opportunity to meet lately..I miss you all :(..This Wednesday, there will be no school, nest Wednesday is a Glamour Gals meeting and then it's Christmas break...so I have decided to resume GFC after the break next year..we will begin many things I have planned..I love you all so much
