The Brick Presbyterian Church is excited to welcome Nicolas Kilhoffer as the Wilson Family Sacred Music Intern for the 2026-2027 year!

A native of Saverne, France, Nicolas began studying piano at age seven and taught himself the organ, serving as a church organist from the age of ten. He has studied organ performance and improvisation in Strasbourg and Paris and has performed extensively throughout Europe, Africa, and North America. Recent appearances include Grace Church in New York City, Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, British Columbia, Saint Paul’s Anglican Church in Athens, and All Saints’ Cathedral in Nairobi.

In the Fall of 2026, Nicolas will begin a Master of Music degree at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, studying with James O’Donnell, Organist Emeritus of Westminster Abbey. We are delighted to welcome him to Brick Church!

The Annual Meetings of the Congregation and the Corporation, held on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, were filled with joy and community as both new and longtime members gathered.

After a delicious meal hosted by the Congregational Fellowship Committee, we sang hymns, prayed, and reflected on all that God has done in and through The Brick Church during the 2025 calendar year. We had so much to celebrate this year! ⛪️

For 30 years, Stanley has faithfully served The Brick Church and touched the lives of countless families in our congregation and school community.

We are grateful for his dedication, friendship, and years of service. We will miss you, Stanley, and send you into retirement with our love, prayers, and best wishes.

What a beautiful day at the annual Strawberry Festival at Brick Church! 🍓☀️ On May 17th, young and old alike had a wonderful time celebrating together on 92nd Street.

From live music and delicious strawberry shortcake to kids’ activities, hot dogs, and joyful conversations with friends and neighbors, there was truly something for everyone. Thank you to everyone who joined the fun and helped make the day so special!

What a weekend for the Women’s Association at Brick! 💐 From the Spring Boutique, to the Installation of New Officers & Spring Luncheon, to Mahjong for Ministries, each event (which happened on May 13th and 14th) was filled with fellowship, generosity, and joyful community. We’re grateful to the women who lead, serve, and make such a meaningful impact through faith and friendship. ✨

Welcome to Brick Church! On Sunday, May 17th, we joyfully welcomed 17 new members to The Brick Church through Reaffirmation of Faith and Profession of Faith.

These new members come from neighborhoods throughout New York City and shared their excitement to raise their children in a strong Christian community, experience a sense of belonging, and feel spiritually connected and grounded amid life in New York City. We are deeply grateful for the ways God continues to bring people together through this congregation, and we invite you to join us in welcoming these new members into the life of our church family.

Just published! ✨ A new article by our very own Dr. Ray Nagem on Maurice Duruflé’s Scherzo, Op. 2, which is the first of his mature organ works.

Our music director and acclaimed organist Dr. Nagem had the joy of performing this work live on April 21st for the Church Worship and Arts Concert Series.

Members of the organ department from Eastman School of Music stopped by Brick Church yesterday to experience the sounds of our Casavant organ. It was a particular delight to welcome back Mitchell Miller, who was the Wilson Family Organ Intern in 2016. We wish the students all the best for the end of their semester and the summer ahead!
