Jews for Jesus New York Formed as a nonprofit organization in 1973, established in New York City in 1975, we remain true to

Jews for Jesus became the name of the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1973, but it’s nothing new; Jewish people have been believing in Jesus since, well, Jesus! Just as we have joyfully passed down our rich heritage from generation to generation, we also pass down the hope our ancestors had in a coming Messiah—a hope we believe is realized in Jesus. Many Jewish people have still never he

ard that faith in Jesus is a viable and thriving expression of Jewish life, and we want to change that! After all, every person should have the opportunity to decide who the Messiah is for themselves—not let that decision be made for them by rabbis 2,000 years ago. That’s why we facilitate Jewish community, offer spiritual care, and provide local services in over a dozen cities around the world. The truth that we’ve discovered has changed our lives, given us newfound peace, and strengthened our sense of purpose as Jewish people. We’re 100% Jewish and 100% Christian, remaining true to the original heart of our Jewish faith, living meaningful Jewish lives today, and maintaining abundant hope for the future. In this way, we fulfill the mission God gave the Jewish people to bring His light to the nations. If Jesus really is the Messiah, there is nothing more Jewish than following him and sharing his message.

Who We Are & What We Do

We're Jewish people who believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah foretold in the Hebrew Scriptures. We love our God, and we love our city. Whether it be through handing out cups of cold brew coffee, playing guitar in Union Square, cleaning local parks, or creating community art projects, Jews for Jesus strives to show the love of Jesus to the people of New York City in as many ways as we can.
