SOON Movement, formerly known as KCCC (Korea Campus Crusade for Christ), is a college ministry helping to fulfill the Great Commission through the power of the Holy Spirit by winning, building, and sending spirit-filled disciples everywhere. Situated in the New York metropolitan area, we believe God has placed us in a unique position of monumental influence. During the New Testament, at the center

of the world was Rome, shaping economics, culture, and beliefs of their world. We believe as the Gospel continues to work all over the world, our roles and parts will help win the campus today and the world tomorrow, all with the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Luke 24:1-6
1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen!“

We celebrate the risen King today as death did not have the final word over him! In Christ, we too break free from sin and death as his resurrection life is shared with us by grace. Jesus has risen and he is alive today!

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁 “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, and his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 107:1) Thank you to all our staff, soonjangs, members, and especially our ministry partners! Though our seasons may be difficult and seem impossible, knowing we have one another gives us strength to endure and perspective that God is good! 🙏

We will be starting this month of Higher Calling Preview (11/1) ✨
Following along another exciting Geth on missions (11/8) 🌎
And we will be having our monthly prayer room on 11/15. 🙏
Lastly we will be starting our new Gethsemane series on 11/22!
And we will be ending the month with no Gethsemane, but a day full of thanksgiving at our homes and churches! 🦃

We will be finishing our Gethsemane series this Friday and you don’t want to miss it! 🫵
✍🏿 A recap for the past Gethsemane on our series: the abundant life only comes from Jesus. He poured Himself out for you to be filled with the abundant life. He is the one interceding for you and covers you with His righteousness so you can live. And this is all out of love from God the Father for you. All because of His love for you, yes He loves you❤️

This Friday Gethsemane will be our monthly PRAYER ROOM GETH. 💗 If this is your first time coming out to one, we warmly welcome you to a night of going deeper with God in prayer. 🤝 We encourage you to bring your bibles, journals, and pens.
If you don’t have any, then it’s okay come as you are because we’ll have plenty available for you at Geth. 🫶

🚨 Again this week’s location will be at New York Presbyterian Church at 7:30pm! We hope to see you this Friday! 😊

And most importantly grateful to our awesome God for allowing us to have meaningful fellowship together! 😭😭😭

It is October and wow Sports Day was quite the thrill and excitement! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed planning it for you! 🏃‍♂️🏆🥇

You may be wondering now, “Do we have Gethsemane this week? 🫢 Next week? 😳 End of the month? 🫣 Please I want some answers!” 🫨
We will be going back to Gethsemane monthly calendars to help you plan accordingly for the month! ✍🏿🧑‍💻✏️

We are so excited that we get to come together to worship the Lord together once again at a space we can pray for one another and come before the Lord together. There are many retreats happening and midterms, but we hope if you’re free, that you’re able to come out! 😌

📍 With that said, we will be continuing our abundant life Gethsemane series this Friday at Hope East Village at 7:30 PM!
💡 Please be mindful, we will be going to NYPC after this week for the rest of the month!
