The Mishna in Masechet Bikkurim describes the elaborate and joyous process of bringing the First Fruits to Yerushalayim (particularly in chapter 3). The farmers would deliberately gather in local cities before embarking on their journey to the Beit HaMikdash, creating great processions of Bikkurim-bearers and glorifying Hashem’s name as throngs of people converged upon Yerushalayim to perform this mitzvah.

# All Biblical Highways Lead to **Our** Jerusalem

For thousands of years, the Jewish people prayed toward one city.

Jerusalem.

It is the eternal capital of the Jewish people, the heart of our history, our faith, and our future.

Generation after generation, foreign empires tried to erase our connection to Jerusalem. They expelled Jews from its neighborhoods, destroyed our holy places, and sought to replace our identity with their own.

But they all disappeared.

We returned.

Today, we have the privilege—and the responsibility—not only to live in Jerusalem, but to strengthen it, rebuild it, and ensure that Jewish life flourishes in every part of our eternal capital.

**Make Jerusalem Great(er) Again.**

Restore Jewish pride.

Restore Jewish life throughout Jerusalem.

Right the wrongs of history.

The Jewish people were driven from Jerusalem.

Now it is time to come home.

Every new Jewish family, every yeshiva, every mezuzah, every restored neighborhood, and every act of rebuilding is another step in reversing centuries of exile and fulfilling generations of hope.

**21 DAYS TO REWRITE HISTORY**

**Righting the Wrong of 927 Years**

Exactly **21 days** separate the **17th of Tammuz** from **Tisha B'Av**—the national period of mourning for the destruction of Jerusalem.

On **July 15, 1099**, Crusaders breached Jerusalem's northern walls near **Flowers Gate**. During the three weeks that followed, they devastated the city, murdered thousands, and nearly extinguished Jewish life in that area.

For **927 years**, that place stood as a symbol of destruction.

**Today, we are writing a different ending.**

A new Yeshiva is opening on the very site where the Crusaders broke through the walls.

Together with Ateret Cohanim, we are helping establish:
📖 A Yeshiva High School for **65 boys** led by **Rabbi Moti Tau**
📖 A post-army Yeshiva for **45 young men** under **Rav Tau** and **Rabbi Tzvi Kustiner**

These young men are building Jerusalem through Torah today—and many will go on to defend the Jewish people through service in the Israel Defense Forces.

**THEN**
❌ They breached Jerusalem's walls.
❌ They tried to extinguish Torah.
❌ They massacred our people.

**TODAY**
✅ Torah fills these streets once again.
✅ Jewish life is flourishing inside the Old City.
✅ The Crusaders are gone. Am Yisrael lives.

Over these **21 days**, our goal is to raise **$100,000** to prepare the dormitories and classrooms these students need to learn, grow, and strengthen Jerusalem's future.

This is more than a donation.

It is an act of restoration.
An act of rebuilding.
An act of redemption.

They breached the walls of Jerusalem.
They desecrated our Holy Temple.
They tried to silence Torah learning.
They massacred Jerusalem's Jewish community during the Crusader conquest.

But today, they are gone.

Today, Torah is learned once again in and around the walls of **our eternal Jerusalem**.

Today, vibrant Jewish life is flourishing in the heart of our united capital.

This is the miracle of Jewish history—not just remembering the past, but reversing it through rebuilding, renewal, and redemption.

Throughout the eras of the Judges, Prophets, and Kings, the Bible teaches us a powerful lesson.

Again and again, after periods of repentance and returning to Hashem, the Jewish people defeated their enemies—whether Ammon, Moab, Amalek, the Philistines, and others. In many cases, those victories brought decades of peace, security, and prosperity.

Yet the enemy was rarely wiped out completely.

The biblical pattern was not always total destruction. It was the restoration of Jewish strength, deterrence, and the ability to live in peace.

Perhaps there is a lesson there for us today.

When we look at the current reality, it is easy to focus on what remains unfinished. But it is also important to recognize how much has changed.

Hamas has been shattered. Hezbollah has suffered devastating blows. Iran's regional axis has been severely weakened.

The cup may not be 100% full.

But perhaps it is worth appreciating that it is at least 75% full.

Sometimes the greatest mistake is focusing only on what remains and forgetting how much has already been achieved.
