After 124 years of faith and fellowship, we’re stepping into a new chapter — and we’re back online!

Founded in 1901 as a German Lutheran congregation and part of the United Church of Christ for the past 68 years, our church continues to be a place of love, welcome, and community in the vibrant and multicultural Unionport neighborhood of the Bronx.

In October 2024, we welcomed Pastor Carlos and began a renewed season of connection. We are excited about what God is doing — and what is still ahead.

We invite you to:

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in cleaning our Church grounds. Yesterday, Edwin, Baron, Jonathan, Amanda, our kids, Chris, Carine, and Raphael helped us cut bushes and trim trees in the garden. We began the work around 9 a.m. and completed everything by 2:30 p.m. Special thanks to Amanda for bringing snacks. Honestly, I was unsure if we could accomplish everything we planned, as it seemed like an impossible task. However, the team worked incredibly hard, and within just 4-5 hours, we achieved all our goals. Everyone demonstrated their expertise and talents, dedicating their time and effort to the work of the Lord. I truly appreciate each and every one of you who joined us yesterday.

On the final day of Vacation Bible School, the theme was 'I am Called,' and Rev. Moses Bollam taught the Bible story, focusing on John the Baptist, who had a predetermined plan and purpose in God's eyes. This theme aimed to teach the children that God has a plan and purpose for their lives as well. After a fun-filled day of singing, games, and music, the children shared why they believed they were incredible, which was a heartwarming moment for all. To conclude the event, the children received gifts and chocolates, and pizza and ice cream were served. We express our gratitude to the council members, parents, donors, and teachers for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout the successful conduct of Vacation Bible School.
