📌 Pope Leo XIV receives the Prelate of Opus Dei in audience

This morning, 16 February, the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV received Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz in audience.

During the meeting, the Prelate assured the Holy Father of the unity and affection of the members of Opus Dei with the Pope and with the whole , as well as their prayers for him and for the intentions he carries in his heart.

🙏🌍 At the end, imparted his Apostolic Blessing, which he wished to extend to all the members of and to all those who take part in its apostolic activities.

It took 365 days to live 2025, but we summarized it ALL in 25 seconds.

Some milestones from the year:

🚪 Pope Francis opened the holy door in Saint Peter’s, beginning the Jubilee of Hope (technically this happened at the end of 2024, but we couldn’t leave it out because it changed our whole year)

🎥 One by One, a page with dozens of new stories from past and present members of Opus Dei, launched on opusdei.org

✉️ The Prelate of Opus Dei wrote us a long letter on joy!

🔔 We celebrated the 100th anniversary of St. Josemaria’s priestly ordination (in the video: vigil of prayer for priests)

🙏 After Easter, we gave thanks for Pope Francis and joined the whole Church in praying for the next successor of Peter, Pope Leo, who was elected on May 8

📖 The 100th Spanish edition of St. Josemaria’s most well-known book, “The Way,” came out

🌍 BeDoCare was held in Kenya with a special focus on Africa’s future

📕 Pope Leo signed his first apostolic exhortation, on love for the poor

🎙️ We kept walking the path to the centenary

📱 We upgraded our mobile devotional with an ultra-clean design, more pages, and many more languages

🚦 The Dicastery for the Causes of the Saints gave a green light for investigating the possible sainthood of a supernumerary in the USA, Ruth Pakaluk

✈️ Pope Leo visited Türkiye and Lebanon with messages of hope and peace
