I Want to Sing in the role of her own mother. In Mama, I Want to Sing, The Next Generation, Ahmaya Knoelle (the daughter of Vy Higginsen and Ken Wydro) performs in the role of her aunt, Doris Troy. The Next Generation also features selected performers from Vy Higginsen’s Gospel for Teens Choir. Gospel for Teens is the award-winning choir recently featured on CBS’ 60 Minutes, Good Morning America, and ABC’s World News.
