Dr. Wright serves as Pastor for Creation Care for the New England Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, helping to “green congregations” in their ministry and worship. She served as pastor for Ascension Lutheran Church, Burlington, VT, from 2006 to 2022 and worked with her congregation and ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, to create the Congregational Watershed Discipleship Manual. She has worked nationally and internationally in sustainable development and is coauthor of Ecological Healing: A Christian Vision (Orbis, 1993). She is a certified Forest Therapy Guide.
