Pentecost Sunday was such a special one. We celebrated the ordination of , APIDA with and had a birthday celebration for the church. All together as one, in our many genders, sexualities, identities and all, in a true Pentecost spirit.

Does the United States deserve to live until its 250th birthday?

This Sunday Middle member, Peter Tanaka opened his sermon with the story of his grandmother. She passed in January at 99, a week before her 100th birthday. She was also held in a US concentration camp during World War II.

Peter asked what justice requires of us right now. Whether we choose liberation or survival. Whether we can imagine a world where every world fits? If it is even possible.
