Yesterday evening, the students of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Academy and our Faith Formation Program received the Sacrament of Confirmation during the 5:00 PM Vigil Mass.
Surrounded by their families, sponsors, catechists, and parish community, these young men and women were sealed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and strengthened in their faith as they took this important step in their Christian journey.
We were honored to welcome Bishop Witold Mroziewski, who administered the Sacrament of Confirmation and encouraged our candidates to live as faithful disciples of Christ. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Father Francisco Walker, Father Andrzej Klocek, pastor at Saint Elizabeth, and Deacon Carlos Bueno for their guidance, prayers, and support throughout the year. It was especially meaningful to celebrate this occasion with Deacon Carlos, whose daughter, Genesis, was among those who received the sacrament.
We would also like to recognize Nikitha Bachu, Director of Faith Formation, for her tireless dedication and countless hours of work in preparing our students for this special day. Her commitment to the faith formation of our parish youth is a true blessing to our community.
A heartfelt thank you as well to all of our catechists, volunteers, sponsors, parents, and families whose support, encouragement, and example of faith help make the Faith Formation Program at Saint Thomas the Apostle possible.
Congratulations to all of our newly confirmed young people. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire you as you grow in faith and witness to Christ in your daily lives.

Ayer por la tarde, los estudiantes de la Academia Católica Saint Thomas the Apostle y de nuestro Programa de Formación en la Fe recibieron el Sacramento de la Confirmación durante la Misa de Vigilia de las 5:00 PM.
Rodeados de sus familias, padrinos, catequistas y de toda la comunidad parroquial, estos jóvenes fueron sellados con los Dones del Espíritu Santo y fortalecidos en su fe al dar este importante paso en su camino cristiano.
Tuvimos el honor de recibir a Monseñor Witold Mroziewski, quien administró el Sacramento de la Confirmación y animó a nuestros candidatos a vivir como fieles discípulos de Cristo. También extendemos nuestro más sincero agradecimiento al Padre Francisco Walker, Padre Andrzej Klocek, pastor de San Elizabeth, y al Diácono Carlos Bueno por su guía, oraciones y apoyo durante todo el año. Fue especialmente significativo celebrar esta ocasión junto al Diácono Carlos, cuya hija, Genesis, se encontraba entre quienes recibieron el sacramento.
También deseamos reconocer a Nikitha Bachu, Directora de Formación en la Fe, por su incansable dedicación y las innumerables horas de trabajo invertidas en la preparación de nuestros estudiantes para este día tan especial. Su compromiso con la formación de la fe de los jóvenes de nuestra parroquia es una verdadera bendición para nuestra comunidad.
Asimismo, agradecemos de corazón a todos nuestros catequistas, voluntarios, padrinos, padres de familia y familiares, cuyo apoyo, ánimo y ejemplo de fe hacen posible el Programa de Formación en la Fe de Saint Thomas the Apostle.
Felicitamos a todos nuestros jóvenes recién confirmados. Que el Espíritu Santo continúe guiándolos, fortaleciéndolos e inspirándolos mientras crecen en la fe y dan testimonio de Cristo en su vida diaria.
