We’re back, and what a way to begin a new program year at Heavenly Rest!

Welcome Back Sunday was full of joy as our church gathered to worship, bless backpacks and students, and experience Christ's love! Following the service we shared in a festive coffee hour with music, games, face painting, and a photo booth! Together, we gave thanks to God for all that has been and looked ahead with excitement to all that this fall will bring.

Be sure to check out our new fall newsletter, available online and in print, to discover all the ways to worship, connect, grow, and serve this season.

Join us this Sunday at 8:30am for Rite I Spoken Eucharist or at 11:00am for our Rite II Choral Eucharist. Our 5:00pm Vespers returns next week with a beautiful evening of prayer in the style of Taizé. The program year is officially underway, and we can’t wait to share in all that God is doing here at CHR!

Jesus and Peter walking on the water is not a promise that the storms of life will pass us by. It is a promise that we will never face them alone.

Faith does not guarantee a life without suffering. It gives us hope amongst deep waters, a hand to reach when we feel like we’re drowning, and a God who meets us in the storm and reminds us that even death does not get the final word.

Faith doesn’t necessarily begin with a miracle. Often, it’s through faith that we begin to recognize the miracles God has been placing before us all along.

Hi neighbors! Our Vacation Bible School is only a few weeks away, and registration is still open! ☀️ Through music, art, creative play and interactive storytelling, campers will experience God’s epic escape plan as Moses leads the Israelites out of bo***ge in Egypt. 🌊

VBS will run from July 20-24, from 9 am-1 pm each day. It is open to children ages 4-10, and a $50 donation per child is suggested. 🔔 Interested in signing up? Register at the link in our bio!
