OUR STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the bible. We believe in one God eternally
existing in three persons, namely the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead; that He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for the forgiveness of sin. We believe that justification, regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, through the word abide by the Holy Spirit-this involves dedicating and setting aside for holy uses
We believe that holiness is God’s standard of living for His people. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart
We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance and that this is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe that public worship must be conducted decently and in order, and that all utterances that command the attention of the congregation must be for edification. We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. We believe in the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saint’s feet. We believe in the pre-millennial catching away (rapture) of the church and the second coming of the Lord. We believe that Christians should make restitution whenever possible. We believe that Christians should not have any part in secret orders or oath bound societies. We believe that Christian should be married to Christians of similar beliefs and that death is the only thing that ends a marriage. We believe in moderation and modest apparel
We believe in the final judgment of the wicked
We believe in civil government and that they are ordained by God. We believe that Christians should support the work of the Lord by structure giving (Tithe and Offering).
