Church services at Bay Ridge Baptist Church on October 17, 2021:

There will be no Sunday school
Morning service 11:00am
Afternoon service 1:30pm
A meal will be served between the services

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Pastor Jason Walker on Wednesday, October 20. Doors will open at 3:00pm for visiting hours, and the service is at 5:00pm with a food fellowship to follow.

Hey family, so I began to feel a little bit off last Sunday evening and decided to quarantine myself Monday night or Tuesday of this last week. I went to the doctors yesterday and the doctor said I have pneumonia possibly related to the coronavirus. He gave me the swab up the nose test and the results will come back in this week. Brother Paul Crow has graciously offered to preach for me this Sunday. So he will be back on Facebook on my page and YouTube on the church channel, God-willing Sunday morning at 10 am and 11am for those two services. I will get my test results back next Friday. For now, I am not feeling very bad at all, but time will tell how things go. My trust is in the Lord and I hope the services will be a blessing to you as I know they will be to me.

A note from Pastor Jason:
Hey family,
Just wanted to share with you that last night, I asked Paul to preach again to us on Thursday and Friday night, and extend this weeks meetings. This Resurrection week is precious as we think of all of the indignity that Jesus suffered for us, and more time soaking in His Word is just what we need! We all have a good bit of time at home on our hands, so why not fill some of it with something that will direct us to Christ. As Paul finished preaching last night, I couldn't help wishing there was more. So then this morning, when I woke up, the scripture came to mind "Could you not watch with me one hour?"
