SERMON RECAP | THE TENT OF MEETING ⛺

Yesterday, Pastor Dachka Brown reminded us of the importance of separation, consecration, and the presence of God in this season.

Like Moses, there are times when we must intentionally separate ourselves from the things, environments, and relationships that dishonor God and His ways—and make the presence of God our priority. Moses pitched the tent outside the camp as a place to meet with God, seek His will, and declare, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” (Exodus 33)

And while Moses met with God, Joshua lingered at the tent. He stayed near the glory, being prepared and consecrated for where God would eventually call him to lead.

Pastor Dachka also released a powerful prophetic demonstration over our youth, covering them in prayer and declaring that God is placing a tent over their lives, their purpose, and their destiny. May they be a generation that lingers in His presence and is prepared to lead His people into promise. 🙏🏽

There is a call to consecration in this season. Come out, draw near, and stay in His presence.

There is something powerful about gathering together in the presence of God. ❤️

Scripture reminds us not to forsake assembling ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25), because we were never meant to walk this journey alone. The church is a place of healing, fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and community. Sometimes the very thing you need is waiting for you in the gathering.

Don’t stay home tomorrow. Come to church. Come expecting God to meet you, strengthen you, and minister to exactly where you are.

Thank you for serving your family with devotion, leading with wisdom, shepherding with compassion, and pointing countless lives to Christ through your example. Your consistency, integrity, and heart for people continue to inspire us all.

As Scripture reminds us:

As we reflect on an incredible weekend at the CIOM 2026 Women’s & Family Retreat, our hearts are filled with gratitude.

To every attendee, thank you for saying “yes” to God and being part of what He did among us. Your hunger for His presence, your fellowship, and your willingness to grow made this retreat truly special.

To our guest speakers, workshop facilitators, worship leaders, musicians, and ministry teams, thank you for allowing God to use you so powerfully. Your preparation, sacrifice, and obedience poured into countless lives.

To every volunteer and behind-the-scenes servant, thank you for your tireless work, your flexibility, and your servant’s heart. From planning and registration to hospitality, production, youth ministry, prayer, and every unseen act of service—you helped create an atmosphere where lives could be transformed.

We are especially grateful to God for every prayer answered, every barrier broken, every heart encouraged, every divine connection made, and every life forever changed. We rejoice in the three young people who publicly declared their faith through baptism, and we give God all the glory for what He has done.

Thank you for making “Breaking Barriers” more than a theme—it became our testimony.
