Men Arise is comprised of men (young to old) that have heard and responded to the call of biblical masculinity. We believe manhood is God's primary vehicle to provide leadership in this world. This leadership should be exemplified in the home, church, school, workplace, society, everywhere. We believe that men lead most effectively when they are submitted to the authority of Christ in their own li
ves. We believe that men desire and need the challenge to become MEN! Men who are moving from being consumers to producers, takers to givers, foolish to faithful, mentees to mentors! We believe men are called to live out their masculinity-body, soul and spirit:
- Spiritually, men should know and love God supremely. Simply stated, God is first. This is demonstrated through personal victory in Christ and aided in the context of encouragement and accountability with like-minded men.
- Socially (Soul), men should interact with themselves, their families, co-workers, neighbors, church family, communities and governments in a manner that honors God and promotes good. Godly men should better every person and institution with whom they are called to interact.
- Physically, men should understand that their bodies are the temple of God. By design, men have a motivation to perform tasks and a physical strength that is to be channeled to productivity. These masculine distinctives may be demonstrated in their work, in their hobbies/activities and in their roles as provider and protector.
