“The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.” Leviticus 6:13

Share with a friend who has helped fan the flame of faith in your life.

We have seen God’s faithfulness these past 20 years, and know that He will continue to be the next 20 years and beyond. The only response we choose is to continue to stoke and fan the flame individually and corporately as a community—ushering His reign over our city and region.

We will stay passionate, keep each other burning, and refuse to grow dull or sluggish! God’s supply has no limit, so the only question is how many jars we’re willing to bring for Him to fill. [Honey Emoji]

God delights when believers minister to one another. This includes praying for, encouraging, and sharpening each other, which serves as vital evidence of “good soil.” We’re thankful for the message Pastor Rich brought to us from Hebrews 6 and the widow’s jars in 2 Kings 4 that we might continue to steward what we experienced at Carry the Flame.

Throughout the bible we see God’s desire to commune with and communicate to individuals. We can see it from the very beginning through Adam and Eve—He walked and talked with them.

David too understood the importance of fellowship with God (Psalm 27:4, 7-8).

Intimacy with God becomes the proper foundation for all life and ministry and is the capstone for prophetic effectiveness. As we pursue the gift of prophecy, it’s important that we do it from a place of communion and identity as God’s beloved sons and daughters.

We are meant to be new covenant prophetic voices. We don’t have to strive to hear His voice. We have faith that we hear His voice because we are His sheep. (John 10:27)

What started as a small, bi-monthly prayer meeting born out of covenant faith and friendship is today a church planted right in the heart of New York City’s Financial District. 20 years later, we’re still carrying the flame.

New York City is a center of finance, government, media, education, arts, and entertainment—and the whole world is watching. We believe unceasing worship and prayer releases this city into her destiny and draws children’s hearts to their Heavenly Father.

We’d love for you to celebrate 20 years with us (just a few spots left), and everything God has in store for this city and His church here.

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
