For this Action, we will rally, march, and then we will be joined by Public Service NYC for a dance party with DJs in the park! This is a celebration of the legacy of John Lewis, and a place to find community and solidarity.

All are welcome to gather at the Washington Square Park Arch for one hour of collective witness alongside the monthly Silent Peace Vigil held by Fifteenth Street Meeting.

EVENT// Scarsdale Friends Meeting and the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship are hosting Mark Stradley of RAW Tools Buffalo, who will demonstrate the art of blacksmithing by forging gun parts into garden tools—a living embodiment of the prophetic call to turn swords into ploughshares (Is. 2:4)

The gathering will also serve as a memorial for those lost to gun violence, and a food drive for local pantries. All are welcome
