EVENT// On Sunday, June 7 First Day School will host its annual year end picnic. Happening at rise of meeting at 15th Street Meeting House!

All families are warmly encouraged to attend. The gathering will include time to reflect on the year, share in community, and begin thinking about next year’s lessons and themes.

Anyone interested in volunteering for First Day School (FDS) next year is especially welcome!

Our microconference brings together activists, academics, builders, tenants, and organizers to discuss how expanded affordable housing production can be made feasible in practice!

EVENT// On Saturday, May 30th at the Meeting House come experience a screening of the 1930 silent masterpiece, “All Quiet on the Western Front” with an original score composed by Mike Notowarski of Aesop’s Sound Fables, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit, musical collective. Performed live with guitar and tuba!

EVENT// On Monday, May 25th Join the Sacred Midway Point celebration in Harlem 2-4pm

📍Mother AME Zion Church 140 West 137th St. New York, NY

This national pilgrimage retraces historic Underground Railroad routes from Maryland to Canada, with walkers covering twelve miles a day from May 4th through July 4th, when they will cross by boat into Canada.

Event// Our Quakerism 101 series continues this Sunday, April 25 at 1:00 pm at 15 Rutherford Place with a session led by Sabrina Jones exploring the topic What do we do in Meeting for Worship?

The session is intended as an open discussion and Q&A, and attendees are warmly encouraged to bring their own questions, reflections, and stories.

A light lunch will be provided beforehand.
