LOWC participated in the UNGA Third Committee Youth Forum, a unique platform that brought together governments, youth organizations, and civil society to exchange perspectives on the issues before the Third Committee and their impact on youth.
The conversations underscored the importance of ensuring that young people have a seat at the table where decisions are made. Their insights, leadership, and advocacy are vital to advancing human dignity, equality, and sustainable development for all.

This morning, LOWC attended The Human Rights Implications of Neurotechnology in the Administration of Justice, a side event organized by the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) in collaboration with Austria and held at the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations. The discussion examined the opportunities and risks posed by neurotechnology, particularly its implications for privacy, freedom of thought, human dignity, due process, and other fundamental human rights as these technologies increasingly intersect with justice systems.
