في إنجاز عالمي جديد يتوج مسيرة العطاء:
يتوجه الشيخ قاسم بدر، رئيس ومؤسس المجلس العالمي للسلام لحقوق الإنسان، يوم الخميس القادم إلى العاصمة السويدية ستوكهولم. وتأتي هذه الزيارة لتسلم "جائزة قائد السلام العالمي" (Global Peace Leader Award)، وذلك إثر اختياره من قِبل نخبة من الشخصيات والمنظمات العالمية المرموقة المعنية بالسلام. يمثل هذا التكريم الرفيع اعترافاً دولياً بجهوده الحثيثة، وتأكيداً على أن رسالة المجلس في نشر قيم التسامح والسلام وحقوق الإنسان تترك بصمتها الإيجابية في كل بقاع الأرض.

شارك الشيخ قاسم بدر، رئيس ومؤسس المجلس العالمي للسلام لحقوق الإنسان، في المؤتمر الدولي في جامعة بار-إيلان، الذي تناول سبل نشر ثقافة السلام وأهمية تحقيق السلام في الشرق الأوسط.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار جهود المجلس المستمرة لتعزيز الحوار الحضاري، وترسيخ قيم السلام، ودعم المبادرات الدولية الهادفة إلى بناء مستقبل أكثر استقرارًا وتفاهمًا بين الشعوب.

Sheikh Kasem Bader, President and Founder of the Universal Peace Council for Human Rights, participated in the international conference at Bar-Ilan University, which focused on spreading a culture of peace and the importance of achieving peace in the Middle East.

استقبل مقر المجلس العالمي للسلام اليوم مجموعة من طلاب المدارس الثانوية من مختلف البلدان، ممثلين عن مؤسساتهم التعليمية، حيث شاركوا في محاضرة تفاعلية تناولت صراعات الشرق الأوسط، ودور المجلس في تعزيز ثقافة السلام محليًا وعالميًا. هذا اللقاء يأتي ضمن رؤية المجلس في بناء جسور الحوار بين الأجيال الشابة وتشجيعهم على الانخراط في مسارات السلام والتفاهم.

Today, the headquarters of the Universal Peace Council welcomed a group of high school students from various countries, representing their educational institutions. The visit included an engaging lecture addressing the conflicts in the Middle East and the Council’s pivotal role in promoting a culture of peace both locally and globally. مع اختتام عامٍ حافلٍ بالعمل والعطاء، وبدء عامٍ جديد، يواصل المجلس العالمي للسلام (UPC) التقدّم بثبات نحو تحقيق رؤيته في بناء جسور المحبة والتفاهم بين شعوب العالم. ركّزت أنشطتنا هذا العام على تمكين الأجيال الصاعدة، ودعم المجتمعات المهمّشة، وتعزيز ثقافة السلام في كل مكان. وإذ نستقبل عامًا جديدًا، نؤكد التزامنا بمواصلة المسيرة بثقة وإصرار، آملين أن يحمل العام القادم السلام العادل والشامل الذي تنشده الإنسانية جمعاء.

As we close a year filled with dedication and achievement, and welcome a new one, the Universal Peace Council (UPC) continues to move steadily toward its vision of building bridges of love and understanding among the peoples of the world. في مطلع هذا العام الجديد، نُجدّد الأمل بأن يكون السلام، والوفاق، والمحبة، هي الطريق الذي نسلكه. فالأوطان لا تُبنى إلا بالحكمة والتآلف، ولا تزدهر إلا عندما نُحب الفرد لإنسانيته، لا لدينه أو لونه.
كل عام وأنتم بخير، ولتكن سنة نور، وحدة، وسلام.

في حضرة الكتاب، تسقط المسافات بين العقل والروح. فهو الرفيق الذي لا يملّ، والمعلم الذي لا يُغلق بابه، والدليل في دروب الحيرة. المطالعة ليست هروبًا من الواقع، بل عودة صافية إلى الذات؛ ففي كل صفحة مرآة، وفي كل كلمة نور. وخير جليسٍ من الأنام كتاب، لأنه لا يحكم، بل يُنير.

In the presence of a book, the distance between mind and soul disappears. It is the companion that never tires, the teacher whose door is always open, and the guide through the paths of confusion. Reading is not an escape from reality, but a clear return to the self; for in every page, a mirror and in every word, a light. Truly, the noblest companion among humans is a book.

زار اليوم وفد طلابي من جامعة نيويورك مقر المجلس العالمي للسلام لحقوق الإنسان في بلدة حرفيش، حيث كان في استقبالهم الشيخ قاسم بدر، رئيس ومؤسس المجلس. وقد اطّلع الوفد على نشاطات المجلس ومبادراته في تعزيز ثقافة السلام وحقوق الإنسان، كما دار حوار معمق حول الأوضاع الراهنة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.

Today, a student delegation from New York University visited the headquarters of the Universal Peace Council for Human Rights in the town of Hurfeish, where they were welcomed by Sheikh Kasem Bader, the President and Founder of the Council. The delegation was introduced to the council’s initiatives in promoting peace and human rights, followed by an engaging discussion on the current situation in the Middle East.
