Chodo is a bereavement specialist, grief counselor, and Zen teacher. Koshin is an author, Jungian psychotherapist, and Zen teacher. Together they've brought contemplative care to tens of thousands of practitioners, caregivers, and clinicians worldwide.

Our sangha art auction exhibition will be on view in the zendo throughout the day. Then after a lunch break, join us at 2 PM for ZenChella β€” our courtyard concert benefit for BZC, complete with a bake sale. All family friendly, all welcome. Hope to see you Saturday!

This May, we're gathering online to explore these questions together. Healing Rituals in Zen is a four-part series led by Dr. Paula Arai, Rev. Duncan Ryuken Williams, Sarah Dōjin Emerson, and Charlie Korin Pokorny β€” moving through the history, principles, and living practice of healing ceremonies in Zen, and how we might bring them into our lives right now.

On May 2nd, join us for a morning of zazen, kinhin, community crafting, a Baby Blessing Ceremony welcoming the newest members of our sangha, and a picnic together in our outside courtyard.

Families and little ones are especially welcome β€” childcare is provided 9:15–11 AM.
