This June, we're gathering for a full day of sitting and walking meditation, dharma teaching, and group reflection β€” exploring the radical vision of B.R. Ambedkar as engaged Buddhists today.

Our guide is Maitriveer Nagarjuna, a Dhamma teacher and scholar of Buddhist Aesthetics and Philosophy from Maharashtra β€” the heartland of the Ambedkarite movement. A thought leader in Asian Engaged Buddhism networks, he has supported Ambedkarite practice among Roma communities in Hungary and is currently a Research Fellow at Harvard Divinity School.
