St. Patrick's Parish Annual Confirmation Retreat Last Saturday. Fifty students and sponsors soaking in this last piece of preparation before the big day. Thanks so much to Fr Rob and to Fr. Carmine who led all in Eucharistic Adoration and to our fantiastic retreat leaders D. Palmieri and A. McCullough of JMJ Missions for hitting the (beach) ball out of the park a second year in a row! Congratulations to, and God bless, our our 60 First Holy Communicants and their families! Thank you so much Fr. Rob and Fr. Carmine. Using Toy Story as example, Fr. Rob reminded all the children (and adults) that Jesus' name is permanently written on their souls.

On Saturday, 2/14/26, our St. Patrick’s Parish family joined together for a Mardi Gras celebration after our 4 o’clock mass.

We gathered to burn the blessed palms from last year’s Palm Sunday, creating the ashes that will mark our foreheads on Ash Wednesday.

In true Mardi Gras fashion, we shared a delicious spread of both sweet and savory treats, enjoying the fellowship of our neighbors before the Lenten fast begins.

Thank you to everyone who brought a dish, lent a hand, or simply shared their smile!

St. Patrick's at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City for Vespers last evening led by the 14th--and newest--Archbishop of New York Ronald Aldon Hicks! His homily: how he won't, and we shouldn't, try to hold the weight of the world on our shoulders like Atlas but rather let Christ hold us as we aim to do His will.
