Today we're all one. St. Patrick's Parish 9th Annual 1st Holy Communion Retreat for St. Patrick's Religious Education and St. Patrick's School, Staten Island, NY 2nd graders and parents. On Saturday, 2/14/26, our St. Patrick’s Parish family joined together for a Mardi Gras celebration after our 4 o’clock mass.

We gathered to burn the blessed palms from last year’s Palm Sunday, creating the ashes that will mark our foreheads on Ash Wednesday.

In true Mardi Gras fashion, we shared a delicious spread of both sweet and savory treats, enjoying the fellowship of our neighbors before the Lenten fast begins.

Thank you to everyone who brought a dish, lent a hand, or simply shared their smile!

Religious Education's 7th Annual Family Catechesis/One Sandwich at a Time Event perfectly timed for Giving Tuesday. One hunded+ 5th -8th graders and parents made 1000 cheese sandwiches to benefit organizations including S.I. Catholic Worker Movement and Mercy House! Thank you so much to our families and to our volunteer Religious Ed catechists and assistants for their generosity and smiles.
