We are delighted to announce that on Shabbat, September 9 we will welcome back special guest speaker, Dr. Shai Secunda. The topic of his sermon will be: "Songs of Old: Hidden Histories of High Holiday Prayers."

Dr. Shai Secunda earned his PhD in Talmud at Revel Graduate School in 2008. He went on to engage in research as a Mandel postdoctoral Fellow at the Scholion Institute of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2009-2012.
Dr. Secunda is currently a faculty member at Bard College.

Childcare will also be available on both Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur from 10:00am until 1:00pm.

The air conditioners that cool our Main Sanctuary are old and urgently need to be replaced. A generous sponsor has offered to match $15,000 of donations for this project. We need to rise to this challenge and reach our goal by Labor Day! Please help us by donating to the air conditioner fund. You can donate by mail, phone or online.
