Join us as we study the Holy Spirit. This week we continue our look at the gifts of the Spirit and specifically we consider the gift of healing. Below are a lists of the scriptures referenced concerning healing:
Scriptures on Healing

Isaiah 53:4–5 – "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows... But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Exodus 15:26 – "...I am the LORD that healeth thee."

Psalm 103:2–3 – "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."

Matthew 4:23 – "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."

Matthew 8:16–17 – "He cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."

Acts 10:38 – "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him."

Practical New Testament Scriptures for Walking in and Ministering Healing

John 15:4–5 – "Abide in me, and I in you... He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

Acts 1:8 – "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me..."

Acts 4:31 – "And... they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."

Acts 4:29–30 – "...grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus."
