Here is the information regarding the Religious Freedom Petition for Japan:

"The government of Japan is attempting to dissolve and liquidate the Family Federation as a religious body in that country. This is despite the fact that the government admits the Family Federation has broken no criminal laws, and that the Constitution of Japan contains strong protections for religious freedom."

- The Japanese government is threatening to dissolve FFWPU despite no criminal wrongdoing.
- This is a political attack—if they succeed, any faith group could be targeted next.
- The U.S. and the U.N. have raised concerns, but Japan has not stopped.
- If we do nothing, religious freedom will be lost—not just in Japan, but worldwide.

"Just as Christ taught us and transformed our lives, we must learn to teach, and transform the lives of others. Nothing is possible without fruitful, God-centered people. This is why to be fruitful is God’s first blessing."

On December 17th, the Bay Area ACLC and YCLC chapters collaborated to put on a special summit under the theme of "Becoming Christ-like: A Model for Our Youth." The program involved a special gathering of clergy and pastors to discuss the issues of both America and our Christian churches, and what we can do to provide a solution to these issues.

Additionally, the group of over 150 participants were able to hear a powerful presentation from one of our YCLC ministers, Yoshi Maeda, about the need to fulfill the purpose of our creation given to us from God. He expounded on the need for all Christians to become Christ-like in practice and not just in our preaching, and this set the stage to welcome ACLC's co-chairman, Dr. Chung S*k Yong, to give the keynote message of the program.

The whole house of God was then encouraged to join in prayer for the youth; a powerful move of the spirit and show of unity between the elder and younger generation of ACLC and YCLC leaders.
