So its finale...the majority picked Mohonk Preserve/Resort(check out web site) for a full day of hiking and rocking climbing up state.

Check out website......www.mohonkpreserve.org(There are other activities/you pay extra)

Dates: Saturday, August 23rd 2014 (Leaving early morning(7:00am) return late evening) ALL DAY TRIP. Meet in front of Christ Tabernacle Church.

Price: $12 to hike.....(Gas & Tolls extra to help driver)

To Bring: Comfortable clothing and shoes(sneakers or hiking shoes), food(sandwiches, much snacks, lots of water), change of clothes and hand towel.

Let me know if you would be interested please in going and helping with car pool.

Mission Statement: Single Minded Ministry desires to meet the spiritual and social needs of our adult singles. Bringing the single, single parents, divorced and widowed individual together so they can be encouraged in body, mind and spirit. Learning how to have godly platonic relationships, avoiding the pit falls of temptation, by creating an atmosphere where the spirit of God can speak to our hearts. Bridging the gap through acceptance rather than judgment, strengthening the inner-man to serve Christ without distractions in order to live a life undivided yet single minded. Creating an ambiance that's not intimidating, but warm and inviting. We can come together as one in Christ where we pray, worship and impart joy and laughter through fellowship.

Christ Tabernacle singles Movie, Fellowship, & Food Day
Saturday August 2nd, 2014
Meet in front of Christ Tabernacle at 1:30 pm sharp

An informal time to meet other brothers & sisters from Christ Tabernacle and other churches. It has become a great time to encourage one another, pray for each other, keep each other accountable and develop lasting friendships. You don’t want to miss out.

(Due to movie show times, please... be prompt. We need to safely move everyone from CT to the movie theater in time for the movie to start)

By Train M to Fresh Pond Rd. Or L to Myrtle/Wyckoff Ave.
By Bus Q55 Bus to 64th Pl. B20 to Fresh Pond Rd. Or B13 to Fresh Pond Rd.

We meet in front of Christ Tabernacle and before we depart, we decide on the movie theater location (Regal Atlas Park Stadium 8 or UA Midway Stadium 9) and purchase Regal movie vouchers for $8 however if the movie is brand new, you will have to add a $1.50 when we get to the theater. Before or after the movie, depending on the movie schedule, we eat at a restaurant close to the theater. (Cost of dinner depends on what you decide to order at these places) If we go to Midway, some of the choices are TGIF Friday's Pizzeria Uno just to name a few). If we go to Atlas Regal Theatre, some of the choices are Applebees and California Kitchen.

You need to get to Christ Tabernacle on your own. Customarily, we ask Singles with cars attending this event, (as a favor to the ministry) if they can carpools passengers from church and transfer them to the movie/food location and then back to Christ Tabernacle. Unfortunately we cannot take everyone home but we ask the drivers, if they can drop you off to the closest MTA train or bus that would ensure your safe travel home. If you want to attend the movie only or the food only, you will need to arrange your own transportation from the location.
