Assalam mu alaikum! The Executives and General membership of NAMRIH will be inviting the Muslim Ummah to the opening of our recently rented office at the above stated address on the 14th November, 2021. This is to attract potential members like students, JAMAAT members (both schools & universities), in order to establish a proper transition from SLUMSIS to NUMS and to NAMRIH.

In addition to the opening of the office, key activities in our strategic plan will be presented for a general understanding of the direction NAMRIH is taking.

To this end, we have invited Muslims stakeholders in Freetown and have a budgeted for 100 people in all inclusive of members.

We hope to get cooperation from all members here by donating, contributing and by attending.

So NAMRIH is craving on the indulgence of parents, teachers and pupils of muslims and government assisted schools in the administration of this questionnaire and submit online before the Opening of schools for the academic year21/22. We thank you for your support in promoting the standards of muslims and government assisted schools.

NAMRIH PRESS RELEASE

Welcoming Response to the Postponement of National Primary School Examination (NPSE) date.

The public would recall that the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Basic Education issued a press release titled "Public Notice on the date for exam of the National Primary School Examination (NPSE)", which NAMRIH and the entire Muslim Community applauds.

The National Assembly of Muslims for the Revival of Islamic Heritage (NAMRIH) sees the Postponement of the NPSE date considering the ongoing Ramadan as very timely and welcoming news and would like to thank the Government of Sierra Leone on behalf of the Muslim Community for such a considerate gesture. We believe this is a step in the right direction and implore the government to always show consideration on issues affecting Muslims' participation in nation building. NAMRIH believes consultative engagement with Islamic religious leaders and dialogue with youth organizations is the right approach in reaching a consensus on issues bothering Muslims such as hijab discrimination.

We hope this precedent set by the Ministry of Basic Education will be replicated in other institutions where Muslims do sometimes encounter challenges to observe prayers and practicing Islam.

Finally, we pray Allah continues to bless and guide this Administration and the consulting Jamaat for their thoughtfulness. May Allah bestow His infinite bounties on the people of Sierra Leone and Happy Eid-ul- Fitri In Advance … Assalam Mu Alaikum.

Campaign against all forms of discrimination against Muslims women in hijab and niqab. Think of this: How can a dress code makes you less productive? What does my dress code have to do with my intelligence, my hardworking, my output? Stop the discrimination and let embrace each other.

After two days of deliberation, brainstorming discussion and consultation, we were able to produce a draft strategic plan and revised constitution. The glowing smile on the faces of NAMRIH members is a testimony to that great achievements.
