It’s time to announce one of our SPEAKERS for our celebration on May 20th! Eunice Lee is a Program Manager at the New York City Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and leads the office's interagency partnerships and initiatives. She previously worked at the Office of the Inspector General for the New York City Police Department with a focus on community outreach and data management, and as a Domestic Violence and Crime Victim Advocate for Safe Horizon's Crime Victim Assistance Program. She has also provided academic, professional development, and generalized reentry services for youth with prior justice involvement at the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services. As a lifelong New Yorker, Eunice has a passion for how local government can support and sustain community-led, community-driven initiatives, particularly for those impacted by violence and crime. Eunice holds a BA in English from Amherst College and a Master of Public Administration in Inspection and Oversight, with a specialization in organizational assessment and monitoring, from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

We’re so excited to announce Matthew Liu as our featured performer for our AAPI celebration! Matthew is a Taiwanese-American actor, music director, dancer, and singer-songwriter. Recent highlights include the lead role of Song Liling in Woodstock Playhouse's M. Butterfly, appearing off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's You're Gonna Love Tomorrow! and music-directing Sound of the Silk Road for the Nederlander Organization in Beijing and Xi'an, China. A recent grad with 2 degrees from the Juilliard School, Matthew currently plays 10 instruments but karaokes like a beast and can do the complete Beyonce "Single Ladies" dance upon request.
