Joy is more than a good day.

Happiness comes and goes with our circumstances, but joy runs deeper. It is a gift of the Holy Ghost, planted in us by God’s presence and rooted in Christ Himself.

So if this week has been heavy, take heart. You don’t have to manufacture joy; you only have to stay close to the One who gives it. His promises still stand, and our hope is eternal.

“… the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10b)

Swipe through, and share this with someone who needs the reminder today. We’re praying for you, family.
