He is Risen: The Resurrection in Matthew 28

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without the resurrection, the belief in God’s saving grace and mercy through Jesus is void. When Jesus rose from the dead, he proved his divinity as the Son of God and his works of atonement, redemption, reconciliation, and salvation. The resurrection was a real, physical raising of Jesus’ body from the dead. In Hip Hop, it symbolizes themes of redemption, overcoming adversity, and rising above challenges in the entertainment world.

Jesus was arrested and sentenced to crucifixion at the demand of the Pharisees. His body was hung on a cross between two thieves. After his death, Jesus’ body was wrapped in linen cloth and placed in a tomb with a large stone rolled across the opening. On the third day, an early Sunday morning, the myrrh-bearing women came to the tomb and found it empty. Sitting on the rolled-away stone was an angel of the Lord who told them to not be afraid because Jesus has risen. As the women left to tell the disciples, Jesus Christ met them and showed them his nail-pierced hands.

In conclusion on Resurrection Sunday, Romans 10:9 reminds us of the powerful promise of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. By confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts that Jesus is Lord and that God raised him from the dead, we can experience the transformative power of redemption and eternal life. Let us embrace this message of hope and share it with others, inviting them to join us in experiencing the joy and freedom found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Grand Rising❤️ Hip Hop Church Word of the Day🙏🏾 House Of Prayer 🙏🏾

“He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.” Matthew 21:13 (ESV)

As we journey on this road to Holy Week, Jesus understands that the time of His earthly ministry is winding down. Jesus wants to take the time this week to make sure that He is doing everything necessary to prepare His disciples for His earthly departure. On this Monday of Holy Week, Jesus goes to the Temple and drives out all the money changers and those who sold in the Temple. The Scripture reminds us that, He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.” I encourage you today to remember that the house of The Lord is where we come to make our petitions known to Him. However, there are times when we forget that we are in His house, and we turn it into something else. Lord forgive us if we have turned your house into anything but a house of prayer. Hear us when we pray and answer us when we call. Since I will always remember that it is His house, and His house will always be a place of prayer and peace, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
