Luke 7:9
When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”

Here in this passage, we see a Roman centurion who showed his faith in Jesus and in His power to heal the centurions sick servant.Jesus was greatly touched by this man’s faith. Jesus was so impressed with the centurions faith that He stopped to acknowledge and appreciate what He saw.

We see from Gods word, that faith is an essential aspect for God to move in our lives. When we are able to demonstrate faith with our words and actions that we fully trust God and His power we truly touch the heart of God. In this particular incident Jesus did nothing - he did not even say a word, rather the persons faith in Jesus brought the miracle and got his servant healed. In simple words the centurion grabbed the healing from Jesus through his faith.

Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus had many doubts when the angel told her things that God had planned for her, and the child she would bear. But, she accepted the spoken word and said, " Let it be to me according to your word". God did great things in her life, because she trusted God and conffesed her faith. Her faith gave God the permission to do the impossible.

As you start this new day meditate about this. God is still the same. Even today this is possible when our faith comes in agreement with the power of His word though our faith confessions and acts of faith. May you see great miracles from the Lord through your faith. The Lord bless your day!

2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

We live in a world where people are restless because of the trouble they go through in their lives. Day by day the world is becoming a difficult place to live in. There is no one who is free from troubles, rather everyone has their own share of trouble. For some it’s finances, others it’s health. For some it’s relationships or family issues , the list is endless. Mankind everywhere is burdened by their own challenges.

But in the midst of all this trouble, the word of Jesus still rings loud and clear, ‘Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you..’ ( John 14:27). This peace is supernatural peace and is greater than every challenge we face. This peace has the power to calm every storm that brews up in our hearts. It has the power to silence every thundering voice discouragement and trample down the voice of the devil that tries to instill fear and cause confusion.

The mark of a mature Christian is their peace. It’s not because they have everything figured out or settled, but rather it’s because their heart is settled in knowing their God is in control of their lives. This knowledge brings peace and rest to their lives. It’s the bedrock of their faith. Without this faith in the power and ability of God, we will be swayed by every passing thoughts and troubles.

Dear people of God, our Lord is the Lord of peace and He will give you His peace always and in every ways of your life. All we need to do is to accept this peace with thanksgiving. It’s by faith that we accept this peace, and this peace will fill your heart and your mind.

Today, reject the loud voices that is trying to steal your peace. Open your mouth and say, “ I have the peace from the Lord of peace. His peace is for me is unlimited. My heart is settled knowing that my life is in His powerful hands. No storms can stop me because God is for me and with me. I am full of peace. I declare this in the name of Jesus, who has promised this through His word. Amen”

Psalms 27:3
Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.

There is well know song which goes like this, “with Christ in my vessel I can smile at the storm, smile at the storm, smile at the storm, with Christ in my vessel we can smile at the storm, as we go sailing on”.

Although, this is a song taught to little kids, this song has a lot of truth about our lives. It reflects our faith in the Lord Jesus and the power of His presence in our lives. No matter what happens in our life, we will remain confident, that with Christ, nothing can stop us from moving forward. We are destined to overcome and make progress. No challenges can stop us, because He is with us to help us.

This was David's confidence in the Lord. While others went hiding when they heard about an enemies siege, David's heart rejoiced in His God. He knew that victory was certain, because it was God who went with him into the battle. Although David was physically in the battle, it was the Lord who was fighting the battle for him. This knowledge about God's presence was his strong confidence and he walked in faith rather than fear.

As you start this new day, you may have challenges which makes you concerned. However don't let your heart be troubled, rather lift up your faith and make declarations about your confidence in God. He is our refuge and strength and a very present help in the times of our troubles. He will strengthen you to overcome and be victorious. He will never leave us orphans and He is faithful to His word. The Lord bless your day. Shalom!

Psalms 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Afflictions and troubles are a constant in our life here on earth. It’s comes to the wicked and to the righteous alike. But for the righteous, the Lord Himself will intervene and deliver them from their troubles. The wicked on the other hand will perish in their troubles and have no hope.

Abraham was called as ‘ the friend of God’, but he had to wait for the promise that he had received from the Lord. His proximity to God and his friendship did not make things easy for him. But, Abraham persevered and received strength from the Lord to become father of nations as God promised to him.

David, was called as the ‘man after Gods heart’, he was loved by God. David was greatly favored by God, but this did not eliminate the enemies that rose up against him. David had even his own sons rise up against him and cause great embarrassment to him. Yet, David trusted in the Lord and the Lord delivered him from all his troubles.

Paul, the apostle of Jesus has a unique relationship with Jesus. He was even caught up to the third heaven, a place where there is no place for those who are alive. He had several encounters with Jesus and His angels, yet, in His life he was often thrown in prison and in distress. Jesus, did not take away his troubles, but gave him the grace to go through his troubles.

Dear Child of God, no matter what you are facing today, our God is able to deliver. There is no fiery furnace or miry clay or sickness or brokenness , where His hand cannot reach out and deliver you. He is faithful and He will do it. Call upon Him in faith. Yes you will have troubles, but He will never leave you not forsake you. He will be with you and deliver you from your troubles. Yes He will do what His word has promised. Shalom!

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

During the course of our life here on earth, we often find ourselves in very challenging situations. Often these situations are unique, challenging and embarrassing, causing worry and anxiety. You are not alone, the Bible is full of stories of people like you who had some very unique challenges and how they overcame them. This is where the Bible is a book of good news, giving us hope and wisdom.

Apostle Paul had a great walk with Jesus. He was used mightily by the Lord to expand Gods kingdom. Yet, this great man of God had a sickness or some unknown trouble, which he brought before the Lord to take it away so that he might be more focused on the things of God. But we see here the Lord asking him to depend on His grace and on His strength, rather than taking away that challenge.

While we humans seek to be free of difficulties, the Lord sometimes allows difficulties to keep us close to Him and give us His grace and His strength. God will never take us to any place or challenge where His grace and strength cannot sustain us. He has promised that He will not allow any temptation to overtake us , but will also make a way of escape. Nor will He give you anything that you cannot bear. When God does not answer our prayers, He gives us his grace to go through the challenges. In either way there is no reason for us to lose hope.

Today let your heart rejoice in His grace and His strength. Together with apostle Paul, let us say” let the power of Christ rest upon me through these trials”. May you experience the peace that is beyond human understanding and receive strength to stride on with what the Lord has entrusted to you. Shalom!

Psa 147:10-11
He does not delight in the strength of the horse;
He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him,
In those who hope in His mercy.

The word of God reveals to us the heart of God and His plans for mankind. It's indeed a wonder that, the great God, creator of heavens and earth seeks fellowship with man, who He has created. God created man as His most precious creation and made him ruler over all things. Even though man sinned and fell away, God in his great mercy send His Son Jesus to redeem mankind from the power of sin and restore him, because He loved mankind so deeply.

The word here reveals that God takes pleasure when we fear Him. In other words, God is pleased with those who humble themselves and seek Him. The God who has the heavens at His disposal, seeks those who fear Him and those who are weak, and those who seek Him for their strength. He is not impressed with ability of men, rather His heart is for the weak and weary to strengthen them and give them grace. Unlike those around us who oppress the weak, our loving God gives power to the weak. So great is His love for us.

Our desperate situations are opportunities for us to go to the Lord and seek His strength. His eyes run to and fro to show Himself strong for those whose heart is loyal to Him ( 2 Chr 16:9). Go to Him with your struggles and weaknesses, He delights to empower you with His abundant grace and strength. With God on our side, we have many possibilities. His ways are far greater than our and so is His thoughts. He is almighty. Seek Him, He delights to give you grace to make you an overcomer. The Lord bless your day. Shalom.

Psalms 34:6-7
This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

The word we are reading today is a precious assurance we have in God’s word. A word of comfort and hope. A word that makes our heart rejoice in the midst of our trials and troubles. A word that does not change with the changing times and seasons. A word of power to strengthen our inner man. A living word that carries within it the very power of God Himself.

Often in life, we come to places where we cannot do anything else but cry out to our great God — the Almighty, the Holy One, who hears every prayer and faithfully answers. Just as a mother tenderly comforts her child, He will comfort, uphold, and deliver us from our troubles. He will send His mighty angels to encamp around us, protecting and delivering us from every evil and harm. And even if our own mother forgets us or is unable to help us, the Lord our God will never cease from caring for us. His ears are always open to our cry. He will deliver, protect, comfort, and uphold us — every single time.

You may be walking through a season of great challenge, but His faithfulness will always come to your rescue. Do not let the enemy rob you of your peace and blessings. Bring your requests boldly to God in faith, and He will rise to your defense. His mighty angels are stationed at your side to help and uphold you. They may not be visible to your physical eyes, but through the eyes of faith, we can see them standing guard.

Today, let this hope flood your heart and mind. Refuse to remain discouraged or anxious — the Lord will help you and deliver you from all your troubles. Keep declaring this truth until your mind fully embraces it as the living reality it is. The Lord richly bless your day. Shalom!

Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bo***ge.

Slavery is a very bad situation to be in. The slave is subjected to hardships, abuse and injustice , all for the benefit of the slave owner. Often the only thing the slave gets is a meal to keep them alive, so that they can continue to work for the master. This is a cruel life, which no one should have.

By the sin of Adam, mankind became slaves to sin, with no way of escape. Satan the cruel master kept us under his wicked and cunning schemes as slaves. He stole our peace , joy and blessings and kept us in a cycle of sin to be kept subject to him. Although we desired to escape from his clutches, the price of our redemption was too costly. Our only way of redemption was by the life itself , and there was no one willing to die on our behalf.

Jesus, the Son of God, came to the earth and died for our sins, so that we could be redeemed from the clutches of sin and be made free. His blood was the exchange that was offered to gain our freedom. It was a very costly price to pay. Today, while we enjoy the freedom that came through Christ Jesus, we should be even more careful not to yoke ourselves with sin again.

Sin brings death and separation from God. Sin puts us in bo***ge and takes away our joy and peace. The devil is trying very hard to put those who have trusted in Christ again into bo***ge and this is what we should be aware of and run away from sin and come to Jesus.

If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness( 1 John 1:9). If there is any sin in your life , confess it to Jesus today and ask Him to forgive your sins. You never know if you will have another chance to seek repentance. God is faithful to give you a new start in your life. You cannot live this life without the help of the Holy Spirt, so ask the Lord to fill you with His spirit and with His power. With Christ you can do all things and be an overcomer. The Lord bless your day. Shalom!

Mark 9:23
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

All inventions that we see today started with an idea, which when worked upon made it to what we see today. There must have been several iterations of the same concept again and again, with several failures before something significant came out. The aeroplane invented by the Wright brothers was a simple flying machine which is no longer made. Today's aeroplanes are extremely complex price of engineering with much greater features than that was conceived by the Wright brothers.

Everything in life begins with believing ( an idea a thought ). The Wright brothers believed in the law of aerodynamics and put that to practice to build an aeroplane. There were many intelligent people before them that also believed in the same principle but never took action. It was the wright brothers who put their action into what they believed in.

In like manner , there are several spiritual laws or principles in the Bible ( Word of God). When a person takes action ( faith )holding on to the principles of God's word we will see the miracles. The believing and obedience to God's word brings out miracles. Thinking about it cannot do anything. But believing and taking action honors God and is the recipe for miracles. This brings glory to God.

What are you going to believe today so that you can see the impossible become possible? You know the word (law), but now it's time to put it into practice so that you too can experience the impossible. You know that God can do all things, so now it's time to trust Him, start praising Him and not allowing your heart to get worried, while you expectantly wait for your miracle.

The miracle often takes an act of obedience in alignment to the word of God. Do what He tells you to do and be patient. Refuse to accept the lie of the devil. Ask for God's peace while you wait. The impossible will be yours soon. The Lord bless your day. Shalom!

Psalms 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out Your hand
Against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.

In our life here on earth, we humans go through various troubles. These troubles come in various forms and bring a lot of stress and anxiety to our lives. There is no one who is shielded from trouble — both the rich and poor, healthy and sick, successful and those who are not, all experience trouble in their lives.

The word that we read today reminds us that even though we will be in trouble, our great God will revive us. He will stretch out His hand against the plans of our enemies and will save us. This word is a lifeline for those in trouble. This is God’s word and His promise for those who wait on Him.

When a person believes in God’s word and starts to make confession about what God has promised, the word starts to bring the plans of God to life for them. God cannot go back on His word, and to those who believe, this word is the power of God for salvation. This word becomes the key to open closed doors and bring healing, or to see miracles come to life.

For every challenge we face, we need to find the word which promises God’s deliverance and start praying the word, speaking the word, and above all, believing the word. Because all things are possible to those who believe. The impossible starts becoming possible because God starts to do what His word has promised.

Start your day by declaring your victory over your challenges. God is able to save you from your trouble and bring you deliverance. He will stretch out His right hand against the plans of the enemy and save you. Let the confidence of God’s word bring you hope and peace. Shalom!

Psalms 50:15
Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

Oh, what an assurance we have in the promises of God. A God who hears us when we call upon Him and the one who delivers us, so that we can glorify His name. When people run here and there seeking help, we, the people of God, have a refuge in His word. Oh, what a savior!

Often times, we may have experienced the double standards of people when we reach out for help in times of our troubles. They may be very close to us when things are good, but when trouble comes, they will turn their faces from us. It may be because they know they cannot help and don’t know how to face us, or they may be concerned that we may ask for help and it will burden them. Or they just don’t want to help. When man can disappoint us, we have a God, our Father, who will never disappoint us.

His word is His assurance because He will never change His word. He cannot alter His promises because that is His nature. His power is expressed in His word, and if He cannot go back on His word. This is what makes God so dependable for us. When everything around us fails, Jesus never fails. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He will come through for us in every situation.

Today, bring your concern to God and let Him know of your burdens. Call to Him in faith, claiming the promise of His word. He will deliver you. This is His promise, and He will keep His promise. No matter how bad your situation may be, He will deliver you. He will pull you out of that trouble. Now get ready to tell about His goodness to others. Don’t forget to give thanks for His goodness because He loves those who are thankful. Your trouble has an end when He intervenes, and He is faithful. Would you share this with someone who is in trouble and remind them that He is just a call away? Text ‘ God is faithful’ if you are believing in Him for a miracle. Shalom!
