Community Board 3 will be commemorating 9/11 tonight at Travers Park. Stop by and remember those lost 25 years ago on a day that radically changed the city.

Please join Queens Community Board 3 for its Community Candlelight Vigil commemorating the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. Together with faith leaders, community groups, and our elected officials, we will gather to honor the victims, first responders, and survivors.

* Time: 7 p.m. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.

The work of preserving the backyard of St. Mark's Episcopal Church continues. This is the last undeveloped plot in Jackson Heights, a densely built neighborhood. To create more parkland in the city would be a unique opportunity!
