Members of the World Mission Society Church of God recently celebrated the biblical Day of Resurrection, following the example of Jesus Christ and the teachings recorded in the Bible.

The Day of Resurrection is observed on the first Sunday following the Feast of Unleavened Bread and commemorates Christ's resurrection and the hope of eternal life.

🌿 Restoring Franklin Pasture

In honor of the United Nations’ World Environment Day, volunteers from the Church of God gathered at Franklin Pasture in Lewiston, Maine, to participate in a park and trail cleanup. Members from Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts churches joined the effort, partnering with ReTreeUS and Lewiston Public Works to clear litter and prepare the space for future improvements.

Together, volunteers collected approximately 1,200 pounds of litter from the area, supporting the Church of God’s global Forest of Hope campaign, which raises awareness about the connection between deforestation, climate change, and environmental pollution.

Through teamwork and service, the volunteers are helping to restore and protect local spaces, setting an example for others in the community to follow.
