We have a few vegetables to share today. Again, the tomatoes are varieties we had not planted before, most are from heirloom seeds. So this might be what your parents and grandparents would have had. Even though they may not look like what you see in the stores, give them a try! Enjoy!

Getting enough veggies to put out a table this year has been a challenge, but here is our first one!

Our 2021 Garden Season did not get off to a very good start. Beans had to be replanted and the second planting produced almost nothing. Weeds took over and we couldn't even find the onions. 😊 Cucumbers, zucchini and cantaloupe also were replanted. The tomatoes did not like the rain, dry, hot crazy weather conditions. We had some new varieties of tomatoes donated but we didn't do a good job of identifying them after planting. So, if it looks different than what you are used to, try it anyway.

As always, the produce is FREE to anyone who can use it or share it with a friend.

Yes, the garden has been planted again this year, located at the New Virginia United Methodist Church. We hope to have tomatoes, peppers, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, and cantaloupe to share. We have received donations of some "new to us" varieties of tomatoes and peppers and are anxious to see them mature in 65 to 90 days!

This is the last harvest from our 2020 garden for the Community at the New Virginia United Methodist church. There are just a few tomatoes and peppers. Stop by and take all you can use or share.

We are grateful for the harvests God has provided so that we could share with our community this year.
