Who’s Next?
This past Sunday, Pastor Mike Housholder preached on the story of Zacchaeus—a man known in Scripture as a liar and a cheat. That is, until he had an encounter with Jesus.
Jesus didn’t judge Zacchaeus from a distance or write him off. He went to his home, sat at his table, and shared a meal with him. That encounter changed Zacchaeus’ life forever.
So, who have you had over for dinner lately?
What invitation have you hesitated to accept?
Here at New Life, we believe that following Jesus means more than simply showing up on Sunday morning. It means living life together.
That’s why we have small group gatherings like this—gathering around a table, sharing a meal, and making room for real life. The joys, the struggles, the heart-wrenching moments, and the tough questions—we welcome it all.
Sometimes, all it takes is an invitation and a seat at the table to experience something that can change your life.
So let this be an invitation to come and see. Come and be part of a community surrounded by God’s grace. Come share a meal, share your story, and see what God might do.
A huge thank-you to Audi and Jim for welcoming us into their home and sharing life with us. Especially all the home made Hungarian food!
