REC MINISTRIES will distribute 600 backpacks for the children at Christmas and donating food to each school in Claiborne County.

Claiborne County Farm Bureau, Claiborne Farmers Co-Op, and Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st donated a total of $1500 to REC Ministries to provide backpack meals for the hungry kids in Claiborne County. Funds were raised through the Shooting Hunger sporting clay shoots. Johnny Coleman and Roger Hansard of REC MINISTRIES spent the day delivering Food, clothing and hygiene products to four of our area non-profits including Lincoln’s Cupboard, Claiborne Food Pantry,LMU Clothes Closet, and Brave Boxing and Fitness Center.
