The last year and a half has been educational, encouraging, humbling, and challenging! On August 25th of 2024 we launched SunCoast Church. We were able to use The Jumpy Place in Edgewater, south of New Smyrna, to meet every Sunday morning for worship and study God's Word. During that time, we saw souls saved, babies dedicated, couples encouraged, and met new people! It has truly been a blessing to be a part of all the Lord has been doing in and through this church plant.
Over the last year, we have been able to work alongside Oceanway Church in New Smyrna Beach with Pastor Chase Tramont. We have developed a great relationship as we have taken the time to worship and serve together. I am excited to announce that starting this Sunday, January 4th, SunCoast Church and Oceanway Church will become one! While we will all serve the community as Oceanway Church, there is only one name that we desire to be known by and that is disciples of Jesus Christ! Pastor Chase and I are excited to serve the people and the community together.

I am humbled by the support, encouragement, and love that I have received by all who have been a part of starting SunCoast. We have an incredible group of people who love Jesus and serve with a heart of humility. I can't wait to see how God uses us together with our new church family as we seek to make Jesus known in Southeast Volusia County.

Most importantly, would you pray with me as we seek to serve the Lord in southeast Volusia. Pray that we will surrender to His will, lead others to surrender to Jesus as Lord in their life, strengthen those who surrender to Him, and send them out to reach others who need to surrender to Jesus! I have no doubt God is moving in this area, and we are going to be able to have a part in what He is doing. It will be amazing!
