A Disciple’s Path is a discipleship and church membership class. It is built on a Wesleyan theological foundation designed to help believers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become engaged members of their local church. We will discuss prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

We bid farewell to our Associate Pastor, Staci Plonsky. We wish her well in her new appointment as Senior Pastor at Ford's Chapel in Harvest, Alabama. She has been an integral part of creating a more inclusive environment here at CCUMC. The creation of the Justice Ministry will be a permanent reminder of the impact she has made here in her short appointment. Good luck and God bless, Pastor Staci!

Mike Ramsey sang The Lord's Prayer as a Blessing of the Bread and Cup in the Sacrament of Holy Communion at Seashore Senior Center. Special thanks to Ann Gillis (who brought her sweet dog Earnie) and Susan Pozzuto, who assisted in serving the elements.

The Juneteenth Gala was held last weekend at the Brannon Center. Pastor Heather and Cindy Holliday were in attendance with other members of the Missions Team. Lionel Long, pictured with his wife Sandra, was the recipient of the Community Service Award at the gala.

Cindy Holliday helped film promotional videos for this year’s Back-to-School Backpack Bash at Daytona TOYOTA with Kim Short.
This effort is all about making sure students and teachers have the supplies they need to start the school year strong.

We’re currently looking for vendors, donors, backpacks, and school supplies, with donations being accepted through July 14th.
