Carol J. Boren
ORANGE- Carol J. Boren went to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Carol was the daughter of the Rev. Edward “Ted” Boren and the late Janet I. Boren who passed away 7 months ago.
Carol was born December 11, 1976 with a mirocephic condition.
Her maternal grandparents were Jean and Virgil Irish of East Barre, Vermont, and her paternal grandparents were Esther and Joseph Boren of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
Carol outlived medical expectations and she brought joy to many people, particularly her church family.
“You light up my life” was a phrase loved by Carol. Her unconditional love for everyone was something learned from her mother who called her “the love bug”.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 7- 8 p.m. at Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the North New Salem Congregational Church, 60 Elm Street, New Salem.
Interment will be in the North New Salem Cemetery, Fay Road, on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is assisting the family.
