None of the lines which divide us outside of these walls apply; not between old and young, male and female, rich and poor, homed and homeless, black and white, gay and straight, physically challenged or not, members and non-members, Christians and non-Christians. A blessed Pentecost Sunday at Trinity St Paul Episcopal Church, with St. John's Wilmot Episcopal Church, New Rochelle, NY and St. Simon the Cyrenian, New Rochelle! Together, we have a beautiful international congregation, with 10 languages in addition to English at the proclamation of the Gospel on this special Holy Spirit Day: Igbo of Southeastern Nigeria, Italian, Cantonese, Chichewa/Nyanjaof Malawi and Zambia, French, Portuguese of Mozambique, Mandarin, Fanti of Ghana, Spanish, and Yoruba of Western Nigeria! Red is the color of the day!

NEXT SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9, 10:30 A.M.

As is our tradition in early October, we will have a "Blessing of the Animals," during our regular Sunday morning service this SSunday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m. Please invite your friends and family to come and bring their companion animals—or stuffed animals or animal photos— for a blessing! We bless these dear ones, not because they need a blessing, but because they ARE a blessing.
