This Sunday, October 11, we will conclude our four-week journey through the Book of Ruth, Grace at the Edges.

Through Ruth’s story, we have seen how God’s grace often meets people at the very edges of life—in grief, uncertainty, hunger, and emptiness. This week, in “A Son Is Born to Naomi” (Ruth 4:9–17), we will see what can happen when God’s grace enters a life that once seemed to have no hope.

Then, beginning Sunday, October 25, we will start a new five-week sermon series through Hebrews 11 and 12:

A Journey Through Hebrews 11 and 12

Hebrews tells the stories of people who walked by faith without holding all of God’s promises in their hands. They trusted God while still waiting, still journeying, and still looking toward what was ahead.

Over these five weeks, we will reflect on what it means to live faithfully when we have not yet arrived—and to keep our eyes on the unshakable kingdom of God in the midst of an uncertain and changing world.

We hope you will join us as we finish one journey and prepare to begin another.

Making a Joyful Noise on Wednesday Nights!

Our After-School Music Program is in full swing this fall! Every Wednesday evening, our church is filled with children, music, creativity, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

Seventeen children, from 1st through 7th grade, are participating this semester. Some are part of our church family, while others have joined us from the wider community—and we are grateful to welcome every one of them.

Our theme this fall comes from Psalm 100: “Make a joyful noise to the Lord!” Each week includes a Bible story, small-group mentoring and prayer, snacks, piano, art, games, drums, singing, and guitar.

We are especially thankful for the many volunteers and mentors who give their time, care, and encouragement to these children each Wednesday. Through their faithful presence, our children are learning that there are people in this church who know their names, care about their lives, and pray for them.

Please continue to pray for our children, their families, and all those who serve in this ministry.

After-School Music Program — Fall 2026 Registration is Open!

We are excited to welcome children and youth to our 12-week After-School Music Program this fall!

Children will enjoy:
🎹 Piano & hand bells
🎨 Art
🎤 Choir & drum sticks
🎸 Guitar lessons (limited spots)
📖 Bible stories & faith conversations
❤️ Small-group mentoring with caring adults

This program is open to children in Kindergarten through 8th Grade from our church and the wider community. No music experience is needed — just come and grow with us!

This week’s Pack-A-Sack ministry was made even more joyful with the help of some little angels who joined us in serving! Their small hands brought great joy and reminded us that everyone has something meaningful to offer when we serve together.

As we prepare for the back-to-school season, our team was able to pack 70 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for children in our local community. We are so grateful for these young helpers who shared their time, energy, and smiles with us.

Pack-A-Sack is a ministry that partners with local schools to support children who need extra help by providing necessary food and school supplies. Each week, volunteers gather to pack these items and deliver them to schools, helping students feel supported and cared for.

Thank you to our little angels and all of our Pack-A-Sack volunteers for making a difference through your loving service. Your kindness is a beautiful reflection of God’s love in our community!

Looking Up at Noon

As we shared in worship yesterday, our church is beginning a new journey of prayer together.

Throughout the renovation season, we invite our entire church family to join in Looking Up at Noon.

In the book of Exodus, God led His people with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. The Israelites' responsibility was simple: each day they looked up, watched where God was leading, and followed.

That is our desire during this season as well.

As we renovate our church building, we also want to keep our eyes on the God who is leading us. More than renewing a building, we pray that God would continue to renew us as His people, shaping our hearts, deepening our faith, and making us into the church He desires us to be.

Each day at 12:00 noon, wherever you are, we invite you to pause for a moment and pray with the attached prayer card. If noon isn't possible, choose another time and join us faithfully each day.

May we be one church, united in one prayer, seeking God's guidance together from now until our renovation is complete.

Lord, we look up to You today. Lead us, and we will follow.

Renovation Update: God Is Leading Us Forward

By God’s grace and through the commitment and generosity of our church family, our renovation project officially began in June. We are grateful for every person who has prayed, given, served, and worked to make this vision a reality.

This renovation is not simply about improving our building. It is about preparing a space where people of all generations can worship, gather, grow, and experience the love of God together.
Since the beginning of the project, work has been progressing throughout our church campus, including the sanctuary, chancel area, narthex, restrooms, and Henderson Hall.

As of late July:
• The Henderson Hall restrooms are nearing completion, with updated plumbing, painted walls, and new tile installation underway.
• The sanctuary balcony A/V area has been framed, creating a better space for worship technology and future ministry.
• The narthex restrooms and gathering areas are being rebuilt and renewed.
• Electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and lighting improvements are moving forward throughout the building.
• The chancel area is being prepared with updated electrical, sound, and stage flexibility for our worship ministry.

As with any renovation of an older building, we have discovered some unexpected challenges along the way, including areas needing additional repairs and improvements. We are thankful for God’s provision and wisdom as each decision is made carefully to strengthen our church for the years ahead.

For now, our building may look like a construction zone—but we see something more. We see God continuing to lead us, shaping not only our building but also our church family.

Please continue to pray for:
• safety for all workers
• wisdom for every decision
• patience and unity during this season
• God’s guidance as we prepare a renewed space for worship and ministry

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey through your prayers, generosity, and faithful service. We look forward with hope to the day when we return to our renewed sanctuary.

God is leading us forward, and we are following together.

What a joyful weekend! From June 19 to 21, our Summer Music Camp filled the church with music and laughter. 34 children explored piano, guitar, rhythm sticks, singing, and motion, all built around this year's theme, "Jesus Is Enough."

The children heard how Jesus calms our storms and provides all that we need. On Sunday, they shared their music in worship and led us in praise.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, teachers, and families. We are so proud of these children!
