What a joyful and Spirit-filled Easter worship we shared together.

We gathered to celebrate and rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, surrounded by the beauty of Easter lilies and a resurrection tree filled with favorite Scripture verses and messages of resurrection hope.

Through the baptisms of two children and one adult, we witnessed the grace of new life, signs of God’s new creation in Christ. The uplifting music of the choir and the sacred celebration of Holy Communion drew us deeper into the joy and mystery of this holy day.

After worship, we continued the celebration with an Easter egg hunt in the church backyard, where our children shared in the joy of Christ’s resurrection with laughter and delight.

All these moments came together as a beautiful expression of resurrection joy.
All glory be to our risen and living Lord, Jesus Christ.

After-School Music Program – Spring Semester Begins February 25!

We are excited to begin our 12-week After-School Music Program on February 25, meeting every Wednesday from 5:00–7:00 PM through May 20.

This program is designed for children and youth from both our congregation and the broader community. Each week, participants will:
• Learn piano and guitar
• Engage in meaningful mentoring conversations
• Explore the stories of the Bible together

At its heart, this ministry is about caring for the whole child — nurturing physical, emotional, and spiritual growth in an environment filled with love, encouragement, and faith.

We believe this program is one of the most meaningful ways our church can invest in the lives of children, both within our walls and throughout our community.

Please join us in prayer as we begin this new semester — for the children, the families, the volunteers, and for God’s guidance and blessing over every detail.

If you are interested in participating, you may register through the link below.

We look forward to what God will do in and through this ministry!

We invite you to join us for our Wednesday Prayer Gathering each week at 11:30 AM in the church sanctuary.

During this time, we come together to lift up prayer requests that have been shared, as well as prayers for our church, our local community, our nation, and the world. It is a meaningful time of seeking God’s presence, standing together in faith, and entrusting our concerns to Him.

All are welcome. Whether you come with a specific request or simply a desire to pray, we would be glad to have you join us.

If you would like to share a prayer request, please use the link below. It would be our privilege to pray with you and for you.

What a joyful afternoon we shared at our Frostbite Luncheon following worship today!

Each winter, we are blessed to welcome back our Snowbird families who spend the season with us. This luncheon was a small way to celebrate their presence and let them know how much they are loved and appreciated in our church family.

After a delicious meal, our children and youth blessed us with a special performance and led us in singing together. It was a beautiful reminder that every generation has a place in God’s work among us.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who prepared the food, decorated the space so beautifully, and helped make this gathering so warm and welcoming. Your hospitality reflects the heart of Christ.

Thank you to all who joined us — what a gift it is to share life, faith, and fellowship together.

UMM Monthly Breakfast Gathering

Join us for a time of breakfast and fellowship as the United Methodist Men gather for our monthly meeting.
In addition to sharing a meal and meaningful conversation, this month’s gathering will focus specifically on developing a plan to rebuild and reconfigure the brick structure in our Memorial Garden.

This will be an important opportunity to reflect together, share ideas, and work toward a thoughtful plan that honors the purpose and meaning of the Memorial Garden. All men are welcome to attend and participate.

Christmas Cantata | Celebrating the Light and Hope of Christ

Last Sunday, we gathered as a community to celebrate and await the birth of Jesus Christ, who came into the world as its true light and hope. Our Christmas Cantata was a joyful and meaningful time of worship, lifting our hearts toward the promise of Christ’s coming.

Through newspaper and radio announcements, many in our community joined us for the very first time. We are deeply grateful to all who came and shared in this special evening, as together we remembered with joy and expectation the coming of Christ.

We offer our sincere thanks to our choir members and instrumentalists, who dedicated many months of faithful practice to prepare for this night. We are especially grateful for the leadership and devotion of our Music Director, Ruthie Nelson, whose vision and guidance made this cantata possible.

Above all, we give thanks and praise to Jesus Christ, who came into this world for us over 2,000 years ago. To Him we offer all our joy, gratitude, and worship.

Last Thursday, we gathered as a church for our annual Longest Night Memorial Service, a sacred tradition we have held every December during Advent for the past three years.

Each year, this service has been especially meaningful because we share it with Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. We are deeply grateful for this ongoing partnership and for the witness it offers to our wider community.

The Longest Night Memorial is a gathering to honor people experiencing homelessness who have died, to affirm that their lives mattered and their stories mattered. At the heart of this service is a simple but profound conviction:
no one should die without being remembered.

This year, as we listened to the stories of those we named and heard from their friends and family members, we were invited into deeper understanding. We shared space with grief, pain, and love. We mourned together. We wept together. And in doing so, we honored lives that must never be forgotten.

In the midst of a busy and joyful Advent season filled with many activities, this service remains one of the most meaningful and beloved moments in the life of our church each year. It reminds us that while we proclaim the light and hope of Christmas, there are those who cannot fully rejoice in this season, and that the church is called to be present with them.

We are thankful for a place and an opportunity where we can acknowledge that reality, where we can sit with sorrow, and where we can walk alongside those who grieve. This, too, is part of preparing room for Christ.

Angel Tree - A Joyful Celebration of Giving

We are grateful to share that the Angel Tree ministry organized by United Women of Faith was completed successfully this Christmas season. Because of the generous participation of so many, we were able to share the joy of Christmas not only within our church, but also with our neighbors and the wider community.

Thank you to everyone who gave, served, and supported this ministry. Your generosity helped make Christ’s love visible in meaningful and tangible ways. We are also deeply thankful to United Women of Faith for faithfully leading and coordinating this beautiful outreach.

What a blessing it is to share the joy of Christmas together near and far.

Christmas Luncheon Fellowship

After worship today, we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Luncheon Fellowship in Henderson Hall, generously sponsored by United Women in Faith.

It was a joyful time of fellowship as new participants, visitors, and church members gathered around the table, sharing conversation, laughter, and the warmth of community. Moments like these remind us of the gift of Christian fellowship and the joy of being the body of Christ together.

We are deeply grateful to United Women in Faith for their faithful support and generosity in making this meaningful gathering possible.
